For Christ is the end of the law to justify all that believe.

Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster unto the time of Christ, that we might be made righteous by faith.

Because of the labour of his soul, he shall see and be satisfied. With his knowledge, he, being just, shall justify my servants: and that a great number. And he shall bear their iniquities.

Jesus answered and said to him, "Let it be so now, for thus it becometh us to fulfill all righteousness." Then he suffered him.

"Think not that I am come to destroy the law or the Prophets: No, I am not come to destroy them but to fulfill them.

For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ.

Be it known unto you therefore, ye men and brethren, that through this man is preached unto you the forgiveness of sins;

The righteousness, no doubt, which is good before God cometh by the faith of Jesus Christ: unto all, and upon all them that believe.

- whom God hath set forth for a mercy seat through faith in his blood, to show the righteousness which before him is of valour, in that he forgiveth the sins that are passed,

Remember ye not brethren - I speak to them that know the law - how that the law hath power over a man as long as it endureth?

For what the law could not do, inasmuch as it was weak because of the flesh - that performed God, and sent his son in the similitude of sinful flesh, and by sin damned sin in the flesh;

And unto him pertain ye, in Christ Jesus, which of God is made unto us wisdom, and also righteousness, and sanctifying, and redemption.

and ye are complete in him, which is the head of all rule and power.

which are nothing but shadows of things to come. But the body is in Christ.

But into the second went the high priest alone, once every year: and not without blood, which he offered for himself, and for the ignorance of the people.

Above when he had said, "sacrifice, and offering, and burnt sacrifices, and sin offerings thou wouldest not have, neither hast allowed" - which yet are offered by the law -

For with one offering hath he made perfect forever them that are sanctified.
