Romans 12:21

Do not be evil, but overcome evil with good.

Do not repay evil for evil, or insult for insult. Do just the opposite. For you were called to inherit a blessing.

Being slow to anger is better than being mighty. Being self-controlled is better than ruling a city.

I tell you who listen, love your enemies and do good to those who hate you.
