At that time some prophets from Jerusalem came down to Antioch,
Those who are taught the truth should share all their goods with the man who teaches them.

The poor

And the King will answer them, 'I solemnly say to you, every time you did a good deed to one of these most insignificant brothers of mine, you did a good deed to me.'
for you always have the poor among you, but you will not always have me.
Then He fixed His eyes upon His disciples, and began to speak. "Blessed are you who are poor, for the kingdom of God is yours!
But when you give a reception, make it your habit to invite people that are poor, maimed, crippled, or blind.
Now I beg you, brothers -- you know that the family of Stephanas were the first converts in Greece, and that they have devoted themselves to the service of God's people --
Because the service rendered by this sacred offering is not only fully supplying the needs of God's people, but it is also running over with many thanks to God for it.
because I continue to hear of the love and faith you have in the Lord Jesus and all His people,
Listen, my dearly loved brothers. Has not God chosen the poor of the world to be rich in faith and to possess the kingdom which He promised to those who love Him?
