And I say that Jesus Christ was a minister of the circumcision for the truth of God, to confirm the promises made unto the fathers.

Thou shalt keep thy trust with Jacob, and thy mercy for Abraham, like as thou hast sworn unto our fathers long ago.

Even as the son of man came, not to be ministered unto, but to minister: and to give his life for the redemption of many."

He remembereth mercy: and helpeth his servant Israel.

Even as he promised by the mouth of his holy prophets which were since the world began.

and other sheep I have, which are not of this fold. Them also must I bring, that they may hear my voice. And that there may be one flock, and one shepherd.

Then Paul and Barnabas waxed bold, and said, "It was meet that the word of God should first have been preached to you. But seeing ye put it from you, and think yourselves unworthy of everlasting life, lo, we turn to the gentiles.

What, then, though some of them did not believe? Shall their unbelief make the promise of God without effect?

Therefore by faith is the inheritance given, that it might come of favour: and that the promise might be sure to all the seed. Not to them only which are of the law: but also to them which are of the faith of Abraham, which is the father of us all.

Which are the Israelites, to whom pertaineth the adoption, and the glory, and the covenants and the law that was given and the service of God, and the promises,

that he might declare the riches of his glory on the vessels of mercy, which he had prepared unto glory:

Behold the kindness and rigorousness of God: on them which fell, rigorousness: but towards thee, kindness; if thou continue in his kindness. Or else thou shalt be hewn off,

For look, as ye in time past have not believed God, yet have now obtained mercy through their unbelief:

for this purpose: that I should be the minister of Jesus Christ among the gentiles, and should minister the glad tidings of God, that the gentiles might be an acceptable offering, sanctified by the holy ghost.

And this is it that I mean: how that commonly among you, one sayeth, "I hold of Paul"; Another, "I hold of Apollos"; the third, "I hold of Cephas"; and the fourth that, "I hold of Christ."

What say I then? That the image is anything? Or that it which is offered to images is anything?

Conscience I say, not thine: but the conscience of that other. For why should my liberty be judged of another man's conscience?

This say I brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God. Neither doth corruption inherit uncorruption.

But when the time was full come, God sent his son - born of a woman, and made bond unto the law -

remember, I say, that ye were at that time without Christ, and were reputed aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and were strangers from the testaments of promise, and had no hope, and were without God in this world.

But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, and a peculiar people, that ye should show the virtues of him that called you out of darkness into his marvelous light,
