Now to Him Who is able to establish you, according to my Gospel and the proclamation of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery kept in silence during eternal ages,
in the day when God will judge the secrets of men, according to my Gospel, through Jesus Christ,
making known to us the mystery of His will, according to His good pleasure which He purposed in Him,
but we speak God's wisdom in a mystery??he hidden wisdom??hich God predestined before the ages for our glory;
that it might be fulfilled which was spoken through the prophet, saying, "I will open My mouth in parables; I will utter things hidden from the foundation of the world."
that by revelation was made known to me the mystery, as I wrote before in brief;
and to plainly show what is the dispensation of the mystery which from the ages has been hidden away in God, Who made all things;
the mystery which has been hidden from the ages and from the generations, but was now made manifest to His saints;
But the Lord is faithful, Who will establish you, and guard you from the evil one.
For verily I say to you, that many prophets and righteous men desired to see what ye are seeing, and did not see them; and to hear what ye are hearing, and did not hear them.
And, turning to the disciples, He said, privately, "Happy the eyes that behold what ye are beholding!
"And now I commend you to God, and to the word of His grace, which is able to build you up, and to give you the inheritance among all the sanctified.
Who are you that judge another's servant? To his own lord he stands or falls. But he shall be made to stand; for the Lord is able to make him stand.
but we preach Christ crucified; to the Jews, a stumbling-block, and to the gentiles foolishness;
And I, brethren, when I came to you, came not with excellency of speech or of wisdom, proclaiming to you the testimony of God;
Let a man so consider us, as servants of Christ, and stewards of the mysteries of God.
For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus as Lord; and ourselves as your servants for Jesus' sake;
And I went up according to revelation, and laid before them the Gospel which I preach among the Gentiles; but privately to those of repute, lest by any means I should run, or had run, in vain.
according to a purpose of the ages which He made in Christ Jesus our Lord,
Now to Him Who is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that is working in us,
and on my behalf that utterance may be given to me, in opening my mouth to make known with boldness the mystery of the Gospel,
to the end that He may establish your hearts unblamable in holiness before our God and Father, at the coming of our Lord Jesus with all His saints.
unto which He called you through our Gospel, to an obtaining of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Now our Lord Jesus Christ Himself, and God our Father Who loved us and gave us eternal consolation and good hope in grace.
Who saved us, and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to His own purpose, and grace which was given us in Christ Jesus before eternal ages,
Remember Jesus Christ, raised from the dead, of the seed of David, according to my Gospel;
upon hope of eternal life which God, Who cannot lie, promised before eternal times,
Whence also He is able to save completely those who come to God through Him, since He is ever living to intercede in their behalf.
concerning which salvation the prophets earnestly sought and diligently searched, who prophesied of the grace that would come to you;
foreknown, indeed, from a founding of a world, but manifested in the end of the times for you,
Now to Him Who is able to guard you from stumbling, and to set you without blemish, in gladness, before the presence of His glory,
