You took this man and delivered him by the determined counsel (purpose) and foreknowledge of God. With wicked hands you impaled and murdered him.

The things God fulfilled he announced beforehand by the mouth of all his prophets, that Christ should suffer.

They were there to do the things your hand and council foreordained to occur.

Known to God are all his works from the beginning of the world.

Know that you were redeemed from your futile way of life inherited from your fathers. [The redemption] was not with corruptible things like silver or gold,

All the citizens of earth will worship him, all whose names have not been written in the Lamb's book of life who was slain from the foundation of the world.

Cover the lid of the chest (mercy seat) with pure gold.

Aaron will slaughter the goat for the people's offering for sin. He will take the blood inside, go up to the canopy, and sprinkle it on the throne of mercy and in front of it, as he did with the bull's blood.

The cherubim of glory shadowing the mercy seat were above the Ark. Now is not the time to speak in detail.

He who enters into his rest also rests from his own works, just as God did from his.

They will tell people yet to be born about the righteousness he has performed.

I have not hidden your righteousness deep in my heart. I have been outspoken about your faithfulness and your salvation. I have not hidden your mercy and your truth from the great congregation.

The heavens declare his righteousness because God is the judge.

The heavens declare his righteousness, and all the people see his glory.

Your righteousness is an everlasting righteousness. Your law is truth.

If we say we have not sinned we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.

Remission

For all have sinned, and fall short of the glory of God

What shall we say about Abraham, our forefather according to the flesh?

You should know, men and brothers that it is through this man Jesus the forgiveness of sins is proclaimed to you.

God overlooked the times of ignorance; but now he commands men everywhere to repent.

Faithful is the saying, and worthy of acceptance, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners, of whom I am foremost.

For this reason he is the mediator of a new covenant. A death has taken place for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the first covenant. Those called may receive the promise of everlasting inheritance.

It is not possible for the blood of bulls and of goats to take away sins.

By faith Noah, being warned by God about things not seen as yet, moved with godly respect. He prepared an ark to save his house. By his faith he condemned the world and became an heir of the righteousness that is according to faith.

They sing a new song, saying: You are worthy to take the book, and to open the seals, for you were slaughtered and by your blood you bought persons for God out of every tribe and tongue and people and nation.

Whoever was not found written in the book of life was hurled (thrust) (thrown) into the lake of fire.
