And the father of circumcision to them who are not of the circumcision only, but who also walk in the steps of that faith of our father Abraham, which he had being yet uncircumcised.
Not however that God's word has failed; for all who have sprung from Israel do not count as Israel,
and do not imagine that you can say to yourselves, 'We have Abraham as our forefather,' for I tell you that God can raise up descendants for Abraham from these stones.
And in Hades, being in torment, he looked and saw Abraham in the far distance, and Lazarus resting in his arms.
"Our father is Abraham," they said. "If you were Abraham's children," replied Jesus, "it is Abraham's deeds that you would be doing.
For it is written that Abraham had two sons, one by the slave-girl and one by the free woman.

unless you can deny that it is one and the same God who will pronounce the circumcised to be acquitted on the ground of faith, and the uncircumcised to be acquitted through the same faith.
