Romans 5:7

For scarcely for a righteous man will one die; for, peradventure, in behalf of a good man, some one even dares to die.

Greater love has no one than this, that one lay down his soul for his friends.

because he was a good man, and full of the Holy Spirit, and of faith; and a great multitude was added to the Lord.

who, for my soul, laid down their own necks; to whom not only I give thanks, but also all the assemblies of the gentiles;
