So then you must not be like them, for your Father knows what you need before you ask Him.

And God who knows men's hearts testifies for them by giving them the Holy Spirit, as He did us,

for since we have been so approved by God as to be entrusted with the good news, we are now telling it, not to please men but God, who proves and finds approved our hearts.

No creature of His can escape God's sight, but everything is bare and exposed to the eyes of Him to whom we have to give account.

and I will surely strike her children dead. So all the churches will know that I am He who searches men's inmost hearts, and that I will repay each of you for exactly what you have done.

He maketh

who can condemn them? Christ Jesus who died, or rather, who was raised from the dead, is now at God's right hand, and is actually pleading for us.

for it is by Him through one Spirit that both of us now have an introduction to the Father.
