Bible References

Are israelites

Not that God's Word has failed. For it is not all who are descended from Israel who are true Israelites;
When Jesus saw Nathanael coming towards him, he said: "Here is a true Israelite, in whom there is no deceit!"

Covenants

You yourselves are the heirs of the Prophets, and heirs, too, of the Covenant which God made with your ancestors, when he said to Abraham--'In your descendants will all the nations of the earth be blessed.'
But Jesus, as we see, has obtained a ministry as far excelling theirs, as the Covenant of which he is the intermediary, based, as it is, on better promises, excels the former Covenant.

The giving

Great in every way. First of all, because the Jews were entrusted with God's utterances.
For the Law was given through Moses, love and truth came through Jesus Christ.

The service

Listen to another parable. A man, who was an employer, once planted a vineyard, put a fence round it, dug a winepress in it, built a tower, and then let it out to tenants and went abroad.
The part of the Tabernacle behind the second Curtain is called the Inner Sanctuary.

Promises

He has stretched out his hand to his servant Israel, Ever mindful of his mercy
For the promise is for you and for your children, and also for all those now far away, who may be called by the Lord our God."
You yourselves are the heirs of the Prophets, and heirs, too, of the Covenant which God made with your ancestors, when he said to Abraham--'In your descendants will all the nations of the earth be blessed.'
We also have good news to tell you, about the promise made to our ancestors--
Remember that you were at that time far from Christ; you were shut out from the citizenship of Israel; you were strangers to the Covenants founded on God's Promise; you were in the world without hope and without God.
When God gave his promise to Abraham, since there was no one greater by whom he could swear, he swore by himself.
