(The Shulammite Bride)“On my bed night after night [I dreamed that] I sought the one
Whom my soul loves;
I sought him but did not find him.

Song of Songs 5:6

“I opened for my beloved,
But my beloved had turned away and was gone.

Song of Songs 1:7

“Tell me, O you whom my soul loves,

In the night my soul longs for You [O Lord],
