וַיָּבִ֙יאוּ֙

the ark

､ הָֽאֱלֹהִ֔ים

hā·’ĕ·lō·hîm,

of God ､

וַיַּצִּ֣יגוּ

way·yaṣ·ṣî·ḡū

and set

אֹת֔וֹ

’ō·ṯōw,

it

בְּת֣וֹךְ

bə·ṯō·wḵ

in the midst

הָאֹ֔הֶל

hā·’ō·hel,

of the tabernacle

אֲשֶׁ֥ר

’ă·šer

נָֽטָה־

nā·ṭāh-

ל֖וֹ

lōw

for it

דָּוִ֑יד

dā·wîḏ;

וַיַּקְרִ֛יבוּ

way·yaq·rî·ḇū

and they offered

עֹל֥וֹת

‘ō·lō·wṯ

burnt offerings

וּשְׁלָמִ֖ים

ū·šə·lā·mîm

and peace offerings

לִפְנֵ֥י

lip̄·nê

. הָאֱלֹהִֽים׃

hā·’ĕ·lō·hîm.

וַיְכַ֣ל

way·ḵal

And when had finished

דָּוִ֔יד

dā·wîḏ,

מֵהַעֲל֥וֹת

mê·ha·‘ă·lō·wṯ

הָעֹלָ֖ה

hā·‘ō·lāh

the burnt offerings

､ וְהַשְּׁלָמִ֑ים

wə·haš·šə·lā·mîm;

and the peace offerings ､

וַיְבָ֥רֶךְ

way·ḇā·reḵ

and he blessed

אֶת־

’eṯ-

-

הָעָ֖ם

hā·‘ām

בְּשֵׁ֥ם

bə·šêm

in the name

. יְהוָֽה׃

Yah·weh.

וַיְחַלֵּק֙

way·ḥal·lêq

And he distributed

לְכָל־

lə·ḵāl

to

אִ֣ישׁ

’îš

､ יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל

yiś·rā·’êl,

of Israel ､

מֵאִ֖ישׁ

mê·’îš

וְעַד־

wə·‘aḏ-

and to

､ אִשָּׁ֑ה

’iš·šāh;

לְאִישׁ֙

lə·’îš

כִּכַּר־

kik·kar-

､ לֶ֔חֶם

le·ḥem,

of bread ､

､ וְאֶשְׁפָּ֖ר

wə·’eš·pār

and a piece [of meat] ､

. וַאֲשִׁישָֽׁה׃

wa·’ă·šî·šāh.

and a cake of raisins .

וַיִּתֵּ֞ן

way·yit·tên

And he appointed

לִפְנֵ֨י

lip̄·nê

אֲר֧וֹן

’ă·rō·wn

the ark

､ יְהוָ֛ה

Yah·weh

of Yahweh ､

מִן־

הַלְוִיִּ֖ם

hal·wî·yim

of the Levites

מְשָׁרְתִ֑ים

mə·šā·rə·ṯîm;

､ וּלְהַזְכִּיר֙

ū·lə·haz·kîr

and to commemorate ､

וּלְהוֹד֣וֹת

ū·lə·hō·w·ḏō·wṯ

and to thank

וּלְהַלֵּ֔ל

ū·lə·hal·lêl,

and to praise

לַיהוָ֖ה

Yah·weh

אֱלֹהֵ֥י

’ĕ·lō·hê

– יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃

and Eliab ､

､ וּבְנָיָהוּ֩

ū·ḇə·nā·yā·hū

and Benaiah ､

וְעֹבֵ֨ד

wə·‘ō·ḇêḏ

and

– אֱדֹ֜ם

’ĕ·ḏōm

וִֽיעִיאֵ֗ל

בִּכְלֵ֤י

נְבָלִים֙

stringed instruments

– וּבְכִנֹּר֔וֹת

and harps –

וְאָסָ֖ף

– בַּֽמְצִלְתַּ֥יִם

bam·ṣil·ta·yim

with cymbals –

וּבְנָיָ֥הוּ

And when they went

מִגּ֣וֹי

from one nation

אֶל־

’el-

וּמִמַּמְלָכָ֖ה

and from [one] kingdom

אֶל־

’el-

‘am

. אַחֵֽר׃

לֹא־

הִנִּ֤יחַ

לְאִישׁ֙

– לְעָשְׁקָ֔ם

to do them wrong –

וַיּ֥וֹכַח

and Yes He rebuked

､ עֲלֵיהֶ֖ם

‘ă·lê·hem

for their sakes ､

. מְלָכִֽים׃

[Saying] not

､ בִּמְשִׁיחָ֔י

My anointed ones ､

and My prophets

among the nations ､

the sea

and all its fullness

let rejoice ､

He is coming

to Yahweh –

[He is] good –

כִּ֥י

לְעוֹלָ֖ם

. חַסְדּֽוֹ׃

ḥas·dōw.

His mercy [endures] .

וְאִמְר֕וּ

And say

הוֹשִׁיעֵ֙נוּ֙

hō·wō·šî·‘ê·nū

אֱלֹהֵ֣י

’ĕ·lō·hê

､ יִשְׁעֵ֔נוּ

yiš·‘ê·nū,

of our salvation ､

､ וְקַבְּצֵ֥נוּ

wə·qab·bə·ṣê·nū

and Gather us together ､

וְהַצִּילֵ֖נוּ

wə·haṣ·ṣî·lê·nū

and deliver us

מִן־

min-

､ הַגּוֹיִ֑ם

hag·gō·w·yim;

the Gentiles ､

לְהֹדוֹת֙

lə·hō·ḏō·wṯ

､ לְשֵׁ֣ם

lə·šêm

to name ､

קָדְשֶׁ֔ךָ

qāḏ·še·ḵā

לְהִשְׁתַּבֵּ֖חַ

lə·hiš·tab·bê·aḥ

. בִּתְהִלָּתֶֽךָ׃

in Your praise .

[to be] gatekeepers .

And

､ הַכֹּהֵ֗ן

the priest ､

וְאֶחָיו֙

and his brothers

and the rest

who were chosen ､

､ בְּשֵׁמ֑וֹת

by name ､

לְהֹדוֹת֙

lə·hō·ḏō·wṯ

､ לַֽיהוָ֔ה

Yah·weh,

to Yahweh ､

כִּ֥י

kî

– לְעוֹלָ֖ם

lə·‘ō·w·lām

[endures] forever –

. חַסְדּֽוֹ׃

ḥas·dōw.

וְעִמָּהֶם֩

wə·‘im·mā·hem

And with them

הֵימָ֨ן

hê·mān

וִֽידוּת֜וּן

wî·ḏū·ṯūn

חֲצֹצְר֤וֹת

ḥă·ṣō·ṣə·rō·wṯ

וּמְצִלְתַּ֙יִם֙

ū·mə·ṣil·ta·yim

､ לְמַשְׁמִיעִ֔ים

lə·maš·mî·‘îm,

to sound aloud ､

וּכְלֵ֖י

ū·ḵə·lê

and the instruments

שִׁ֣יר

šîr

. הָאֱלֹהִ֑ים

hā·’ĕ·lō·hîm;

וּבְנֵ֥י

ū·ḇə·nê

And the sons

יְדוּת֖וּן

yə·ḏū·ṯūn

. לַשָּֽׁעַר׃

laš·šā·‘ar.

[were] gatekeepers .

וַיֵּלְכ֥וּ

way·yê·lə·ḵū

כָל־

ḵāl

הָעָ֖ם

hā·‘ām

אִ֣ישׁ

’îš

､ לְבֵית֑וֹ

lə·ḇê·ṯōw;

to his house ､

וַיִּסֹּ֥ב

way·yis·sōḇ

דָּוִ֖יד

dā·wîḏ

לְבָרֵ֥ךְ

lə·ḇā·rêḵ

אֶת־

’eṯ-
