וַיֹּ֨אמֶר

And said
דָּוִ֜ד
dā·wiḏ
אֶל־
’el-
to
､ יְהוֹנָתָ֗ן
yə·hō·w·nā·ṯān,
､ הִֽנֵּה־
hin·nêh-
indeed ､
､ חֹ֙דֶשׁ֙
ḥō·ḏeš
the New Moon ､
מָחָ֔ר
mā·ḥār,
וְאָנֹכִ֛י
wə·’ā·nō·ḵî
and I
יָשֹׁב־
yā·šōḇ-
not fail to
אֵשֵׁ֥ב
’ê·šêḇ
עִם־
‘im-
with
הַמֶּ֖לֶךְ
ham·me·leḵ
the king
– לֶאֱכ֑וֹל
le·’ĕ·ḵō·wl;
to eat –
､ וְשִׁלַּחְתַּ֙נִי֙
wə·šil·laḥ·ta·nî
but let me go ､
וְנִסְתַּרְתִּ֣י
wə·nis·tar·tî
בַשָּׂדֶ֔ה
ḇaś·śā·ḏeh,
in the field
עַ֖ד
‘aḏ
הָעֶ֥רֶב
hā·‘e·reḇ
. הַשְּׁלִשִֽׁית׃
haš·šə·li·šîṯ.
the third [day] .
