וַיַּ֥עַשׂ
way·ya·‘aś
And he did [what was]
הַיָּשָׁ֖ר
hay·yā·šār
בְּעֵינֵ֣י
bə·‘ê·nê
in the sight
､ יְהוָ֑ה
Yah·weh;
of Yahweh ､
וַיֵּ֗לֶךְ
way·yê·leḵ,
and walked
בְּדַרְכֵי֙
bə·ḏar·ḵê
in the ways
דָּוִ֣יד
dā·wîḏ
､ אָבִ֔יו
’ā·ḇîw,
וְלֹא־
wə·lō-
and [not]
סָ֖ר
sār
､ יָמִ֥ין
yā·mîn
to the right hand ､
. וּשְׂמֹֽאול׃
ū·śə·mō·wl.
or to the left .
