But as was
הָֽאֶחָד֙
hā·’e·ḥāḏ
מַפִּ֣יל
map·pîl
､ הַקּוֹרָ֔ה
haq·qō·w·rāh,
a tree ､
וְאֶת־
wə·’eṯ-
and
הַבַּרְזֶ֖ל
hab·bar·zel
the iron [ax head]
נָפַ֣ל
nā·p̄al
אֶל־
’el-
– הַמָּ֑יִם
ham·mā·yim;
the water –
､ וַיִּצְעַ֥ק
way·yiṣ·‘aq
and he cried out ､
､ וַיֹּ֛אמֶר
way·yō·mer
and said ､
､ אֲהָ֥הּ
’ă·hāh
Alas ､
! אֲדֹנִ֖י
’ă·ḏō·nî
וְה֥וּא
wə·hū
for it
. שָׁאֽוּל׃
šā·’ūl.
