וַיִּקָּרֵא֙
way·yiq·qā·rê
And met
אַבְשָׁל֔וֹם
’aḇ·šā·lō·wm,
לִפְנֵ֖י
lip̄·nê
before the face of
עַבְדֵ֣י
‘aḇ·ḏê
. דָוִ֑ד
ḏā·wiḏ;
of David .
וְאַבְשָׁל֞וֹם
wə·’aḇ·šā·lō·wm
רֹכֵ֣ב
rō·ḵêḇ
עַל־
‘al-
on
､ הַפֶּ֗רֶד
hap·pe·reḏ,
a mule ､
וַיָּבֹ֣א
way·yā·ḇō
and went
הַפֶּ֡רֶד
hap·pe·reḏ
the mule
תַּ֣חַת
ta·ḥaṯ
שׂוֹבֶךְ֩
śō·w·ḇeḵ
､ הָאֵלָ֨ה
hā·’ê·lāh
of a terebinth [tree] ､
הַגְּדוֹלָ֜ה
hag·gə·ḏō·w·lāh
וַיֶּחֱזַ֧ק
way·ye·ḥĕ·zaq
and caught
רֹאשׁ֣וֹ
rō·šōw
､ בָאֵלָ֗ה
ḇā·’ê·lāh,
in the terebinth ､
וַיֻּתַּן֙
way·yut·tan
בֵּ֤ין
bên
הַשָּׁמַ֙יִם֙
haš·šā·ma·yim
וּבֵ֣ין
ū·ḇên
and
– הָאָ֔רֶץ
hā·’ā·reṣ,
earth –
וְהַפֶּ֥רֶד
wə·hap·pe·reḏ
and the mule
אֲשֶׁר־
’ă·šer-
תַּחְתָּ֖יו
taḥ·tāw
. עָבָֽר׃
‘ā·ḇār.
went on .
