you do know him

וַאֲסַפְתּוֹ֙

then you shall bring it

､ בֵּיתֶ֔ךָ

bê·ṯe·ḵā,

your own house ､

וְהָיָ֣ה

and it shall remain

עִמְּךָ֗

דְּרֹ֤שׁ

אָחִ֙יךָ֙

אֹת֔וֹ

it

וַהֲשֵׁבֹת֖וֹ

then you shall restore it

And the same

– לַחֲמֹר֗וֹ

with his donkey –

וְכֵ֣ן

תַּעֲשֶׂה֮

– לְשִׂמְלָתוֹ֒

lə·śim·lā·ṯōw

with his garment –

– וְכֵ֣ן

wə·ḵên

and likewise –

תַּעֲשֶׂ֜ה

ta·‘ă·śeh

לְכָל־

lə·ḵāl

with any

אֲבֵדַ֥ת

’ă·ḇê·ḏaṯ

､ אָחִ֛יךָ

of your brother ､

for your roof ､

דָּמִים֙

guilt of bloodshed

､ בְּבֵיתֶ֔ךָ

bə·ḇê·ṯe·ḵā,

on your household ､

for the young woman –

וְהוֹצִ֨יאוּ

then they shall bring out

the young woman

– וָמֵ֔תָה

a disgraceful thing

to play the harlot

– בֵּ֣ית

in house –

אָבִ֑יהָ

’ā·ḇî·hā;

וּבִֽעַרְתָּ֥

so you shall put away

הָרָ֖ע

the evil

. מִקִּרְבֶּֽךָ׃

from among you .

the man

הַשֹּׁכֵ֥ב

with

､ הָאִשָּׁ֖ה

the woman ､

– וְהָאִשָּׁ֑ה

and the woman –

וּבִֽעַרְתָּ֥

so you shall put away

in the city ､

וְשָׁכַ֥ב

wə·šā·ḵaḇ

and lies

. עִמָּֽהּ׃

‘im·māh.

with her .

וְהוֹצֵאתֶ֨ם

wə·hō·w·ṣê·ṯem

Then you shall bring out

אֶת־

’eṯ-

-

שְׁנֵיהֶ֜ם

the two of them

אֶל־

’el-

to

שַׁ֣עַר ׀

ša·‘ar

the gate

､ הָעִ֣יר

hā·‘îr

of city ､

הַהִ֗וא

ha·hi·w,

וּסְקַלְתֶּ֨ם

and you shall stone

בָּאֲבָנִים֮

– וָמֵתוּ֒

and to death –

in the city –

the man ､

עַל־

‘al-

דְּבַ֥ר

də·ḇar

אֲשֶׁר־

’ă·šer-

עִנָּ֖ה

‘in·nāh

רֵעֵ֑הוּ

Of his neighbor

､ בַשָּׂדֶ֖ה

ḇaś·śā·ḏeh

in the countryside ､

מְצָאָ֑הּ

mə·ṣā·’āh;

､ צָעֲקָ֗ה

ṣā·‘ă·qāh,

[הנער]

han·na·‘ar

-

(הַֽנַּעֲרָה֙)

han·na·‘ă·rāh

[and] the young woman

הַמְאֹ֣רָשָׂ֔ה

ham·’ō·rā·śāh,

וְאֵ֥ין

wə·’ên

but [there was] no one

מוֹשִׁ֖יעַ

mō·wō·šî·a‘

. לָֽהּ׃

lāh.

If

יִמְצָ֣א

yim·ṣā

אִ֗ישׁ

’îš,

[נער]

na·‘ar

-

(נַעֲרָ֤ה)

na·‘ă·rāh

､ בְתוּלָה֙

ḇə·ṯū·lāh

[who is] a virgin ､

אֲשֶׁ֣ר

’ă·šer

לֹא־

lō-

not

､ אֹרָ֔שָׂה

’ō·rā·śāh,

is betrothed ､

וּתְפָשָׂ֖הּ

ū·ṯə·p̄ā·śāh

and he seizes her

וְשָׁכַ֣ב

wə·šā·ḵaḇ

and lies

עִמָּ֑הּ

‘im·māh;

with her

– וְנִמְצָֽאוּ׃

wə·nim·ṣā·’ū.

and they are found out –

וְ֠נָתַן

wə·nā·ṯan

then shall give

הָאִ֨ישׁ

hā·’îš

the man

הַשֹּׁכֵ֥ב

haš·šō·ḵêḇ

עִמָּ֛הּ

‘im·māh

with her

לַאֲבִ֥י

la·’ă·ḇî

[הנער]

han·na·‘ar

-

(הַֽנַּעֲרָ֖ה)

han·na·‘ă·rāh

of the young woman

חֲמִשִּׁ֣ים

ḥă·miš·šîm

fifty [shekels]

､ כָּ֑סֶף

kā·sep̄;

of silver ､

וְלֽוֹ־

wə·lōw-

and his

תִהְיֶ֣ה

ṯih·yeh

– לְאִשָּׁ֗ה

lə·’iš·šāh,

wife –

תַּ֚חַת

ta·ḥaṯ

אֲשֶׁ֣ר

’ă·šer

עִנָּ֔הּ

‘in·nāh,

he has humbled her

לֹא־

lō-

not

יוּכַ֥ל

yū·ḵal

he shall be permitted

שַׁלְּחָ֖ה‪‬‪‬

šal·lə·ḥāh

כָּל־

kāl-

. יָמָֽיו׃
