וַיֹּאמֶר֩

But said
לָהֶ֨ם
lā·hem
to them
､ זְרֻבָּבֶ֜ל
zə·rub·bā·ḇel
､ וְיֵשׁ֗וּעַ
wə·yê·šū·a‘,
and Jeshua ､
וּשְׁאָ֨ר
ū·šə·’ār
and the rest
רָאשֵׁ֤י
rā·šê
of the heads
הָֽאָבוֹת֙
hā·’ā·ḇō·wṯ
of the fathers' [houses]
､ לְיִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל
lə·yiś·rā·’êl,
of Israel ､
לֹֽא־
lō-
לָ֣כֶם
lā·ḵem
You may do
וָלָ֔נוּ
wā·lā·nū,
and with us
לִבְנ֥וֹת
liḇ·nō·wṯ
בַּ֖יִת
ba·yiṯ
– לֵאלֹהֵ֑ינוּ
lê·lō·hê·nū;
for our God –
כִּי֩
kî
but
אֲנַ֨חְנוּ
’ă·naḥ·nū
we
יַ֜חַד
ya·ḥaḏ
נִבְנֶ֗ה
niḇ·neh,
will build
לַֽיהוָה֙
Yah·weh
אֱלֹהֵ֣י
’ĕ·lō·hê
､ יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל
yiś·rā·’êl,
of Israel ､
כַּאֲשֶׁ֣ר
ka·’ă·šer
as
צִוָּ֔נוּ
ṣiw·wā·nū,
הַמֶּ֖לֶךְ
ham·me·leḵ
כּ֥וֹרֶשׁ
kō·w·reš
מֶֽלֶךְ־
me·leḵ-
the king
