וַיֹּ֣אמֶר
way·yō·mer
And He said
､ לְאַבְרָ֗ם
lə·’aḇ·rām,
to Abram ､
יָדֹ֨עַ
yā·ḏō·a‘
תֵּדַ֜ע
tê·ḏa‘
כִּי־
kî-
גֵ֣ר ׀
ḡêr
יִהְיֶ֣ה
yih·yeh
will be
זַרְעֲךָ֗
zar·‘ă·ḵā,
בְּאֶ֙רֶץ֙
bə·’e·reṣ
in a land
לֹ֣א
lō
[that is] not
､ לָהֶ֔ם
lā·hem,
theirs ､
､ וַעֲבָד֖וּם
wa·‘ă·ḇā·ḏūm
and serve will them ､
וְעִנּ֣וּ
wə·‘in·nū
and they will afflict
אֹתָ֑ם
’ō·ṯām;
אַרְבַּ֥ע
’ar·ba‘
מֵא֖וֹת
mê·’ō·wṯ
. שָׁנָֽה׃
šā·nāh.
