וַיִּֽקַּֽח־
way·yiq·qaḥ-
And took
ל֣וֹ
lōw
יַעֲקֹ֗ב
ya·‘ă·qōḇ,
מַקַּ֥ל
maq·qal
､ לִבְנֶ֛ה
liḇ·neh
of poplar ､
לַ֖ח
laḥ
וְל֣וּז
wə·lūz
and of the almond
– וְעֶרְמ֑וֹן‪‬
wə·‘er·mō·wn;
and chestnut trees –
וַיְפַצֵּ֤ל
way·p̄aṣ·ṣêl
and peeled
בָּהֵן֙
bā·hên
in them
פְּצָל֣וֹת
pə·ṣā·lō·wṯ
､ לְבָנ֔וֹת
lə·ḇā·nō·wṯ,
white ､
מַחְשֹׂף֙
maḥ·śōp̄
הַלָּבָ֔ן
hal·lā·ḇān,
the white
אֲשֶׁ֖ר
’ă·šer
עַל־
‘al-
in
. הַמַּקְלֽוֹת׃
ham·maq·lō·wṯ.
