כֹּ֚ה

אָמַ֣ר

’ā·mar

､ יְהוָ֔ה

Yah·weh,

הַשָּׁמַ֣יִם

haš·šā·ma·yim

､ כִּסְאִ֔י

kis·’î,

My throne ､

וְהָאָ֖רֶץ

wə·hā·’ā·reṣ

and earth [is]

הֲדֹ֣ם

hă·ḏōm

– רַגְלָ֑י

raḡ·lāy;

My footstool –

אֵי־

’ê-

where [is]

זֶ֥ה

zeh

the

בַ֙יִת֙

ḇa·yiṯ

אֲשֶׁ֣ר

’ă·šer

תִּבְנוּ־

tiḇ·nū-

לִ֔י

lî,

Me

וְאֵי־

wə·’ê-

and where [is]

זֶ֥ה

zeh

מָק֖וֹם

mā·qō·wm

؟ מְנוּחָתִֽי׃

mə·nū·ḥā·ṯî.

of My rest ؟

וְאֶת־

wə·’eṯ-

כָּל־

kāl-

אֵ֙לֶּה֙

’êl·leh

יָדִ֣י

yā·ḏî

and My hand

､ עָשָׂ֔תָה

‘ā·śā·ṯāh,

､ וַיִּהְי֥וּ

way·yih·yū

and exist ､

כָל־

ḵāl

אֵ֖לֶּה

’êl·leh

נְאֻם־

nə·’um-

And says

. יְהוָ֑ה

Yah·weh;

וְאֶל־

wə·’el-

but on

זֶ֣ה

zeh

､ אַבִּ֔יט

’ab·bîṭ,

will I look ､

אֶל־

’el-

and On

עָנִי֙

‘ā·nî

[him who is] poor

וּנְכֵה־

ū·nə·ḵêh-

､ ר֔וּחַ

rū·aḥ,

of a spirit ､

וְחָרֵ֖ד

wə·ḥā·rêḏ

and who trembles

עַל־

‘al-

And at

. דְּבָרִֽי׃

də·ḇā·rî.

My word .

שׁוֹחֵ֨ט

šō·w·ḥêṭ

הַשּׁ֜וֹר

haš·šō·wr

מַכֵּה־

mak·kêh-

[is as if] he slays

– אִ֗ישׁ

’îš,

a man –

זוֹבֵ֤חַ

zō·w·ḇê·aḥ

He who sacrifices

､ הַשֶּׂה֙

haś·śeh

a lamb ､

עֹ֣רֵֽף

‘ō·rêp̄

[as if] he breaks a neck

כֶּ֔לֶב

ke·leḇ,

of dog

מַעֲלֵ֤ה

ma·‘ă·lêh

､ מִנְחָה֙

min·ḥāh

a grain offering ､

– דַּם־

dam-

[as if he offers] blood –

חֲזִ֔יר

ḥă·zîr,

מַזְכִּ֥יר

maz·kîr

､ לְבֹנָ֖ה

lə·ḇō·nāh

מְבָ֣רֵֽךְ

mə·ḇā·rêḵ

[as if] He blesses

. אָ֑וֶן

’ā·wen;

an idol .

､ גַּם־

gam-

Just as ､

הֵ֗מָּה

hêm·māh,

בָּֽחֲרוּ֙

bā·ḥă·rū

､ בְּדַרְכֵיהֶ֔ם

bə·ḏar·ḵê·hem,

their own ways ､

וּבְשִׁקּוּצֵיהֶ֖ם

ū·ḇə·šiq·qū·ṣê·hem

and in their abominations

נַפְשָׁ֥ם

nap̄·šām

. חָפֵֽצָה׃

ḥā·p̄ê·ṣāh.

גַּם־

gam-

So

אֲנִ֞י

’ă·nî

I

אֶבְחַ֣ר

’eḇ·ḥar

､ בְּתַעֲלֻלֵיהֶ֗ם

bə·ṯa·‘ă·lu·lê·hem,

their delusions ､

וּמְגֽוּרֹתָם֙

ū·mə·ḡū·rō·ṯām

and their fears

אָבִ֣יא

’ā·ḇî

לָהֶ֔ם

lā·hem,

יַ֤עַן

ya·‘an

､ קָרָ֙אתִי֙

qā·rā·ṯî

when I called ､

וְאֵ֣ין

wə·’ên

and no one

– עוֹנֶ֔ה

‘ō·w·neh,

､ דִּבַּ֖רְתִּי

dib·bar·tî

when I spoke ､

וְלֹ֣א

wə·lō

and not

. שָׁמֵ֑עוּ

šā·mê·‘ū;

they did hear .

וַיַּעֲשׂ֤וּ

way·ya·‘ă·śū

הָרַע֙

hā·ra‘

､ בְּעֵינַ֔י

bə·‘ê·nay,

before My eyes ､

וּבַאֲשֶׁ֥ר

ū·ḇa·’ă·šer

and in which

. לֹֽא־

lō-

not .

חָפַ֖צְתִּי

ḥā·p̄aṣ·tî

. בָּחָֽרוּ׃

bā·ḥā·rū.

דְּבַר־

the word

､ יְהוָ֔ה

Yah·weh,

of Yahweh ､

הַחֲרֵדִ֖ים

ha·ḥă·rê·ḏîm

You who tremble

אֶל־

’el-

at

– דְּבָר֑וֹ

də·ḇā·rōw;

､ אָמְרוּ֩

’ā·mə·rū

said ､

אֲחֵיכֶ֨ם

’ă·ḥê·ḵem

שֹׂנְאֵיכֶ֜ם

śō·nə·’ê·ḵem

מְנַדֵּיכֶ֗ם

mə·nad·dê·ḵem,

who cast you out

לְמַ֤עַן

lə·ma·‘an

שְׁמִי֙

šə·mî

of My name

､ יִכְבַּ֣ד

yiḵ·baḏ

let be glorified ､

יְהוָ֔ה

Yah·weh,

וְנִרְאֶ֥ה

wə·nir·’eh

that we may see

､ בְשִׂמְחַתְכֶ֖ם

ḇə·śim·ḥaṯ·ḵem

וְהֵ֥ם

wə·hêm

but they

. יֵבֹֽשׁוּ׃

yê·ḇō·šū.

shall be ashamed .

ק֤וֹל

qō·wl

שָׁאוֹן֙

šā·’ō·wn

､ מֵעִ֔יר

mê·‘îr,

from the city ､

ק֖וֹל

qō·wl

､ מֵֽהֵיכָ֑ל

mê·hê·ḵāl;

from the temple ､

ק֣וֹל

qō·wl

יְהוָ֔ה

Yah·weh,

מְשַׁלֵּ֥ם

mə·šal·lêm

גְּמ֖וּל

gə·mūl

. לְאֹיְבָֽיו׃

lə·’ō·yə·ḇāw.

Rejoice with Jerusalem

בְּטֶ֥רֶם

bə·ṭe·rem

､ תָּחִ֖יל

tā·ḥîl

she was in labor ､

– יָלָ֑דָה

yā·lā·ḏāh;

she gave birth –

בְּטֶ֨רֶם

bə·ṭe·rem

､ יָב֥וֹא

yā·ḇō·w

came ､

חֵ֛בֶל

ḥê·ḇel

לָ֖הּ

lāh

וְהִמְלִ֥יטָה

wə·him·lî·ṭāh

and she delivered

. זָכָֽר׃

zā·ḵār.

a male [child] .

מִֽי־

mî-

שָׁמַ֣ע

šā·ma‘

؟ כָּזֹ֗את

kā·zōṯ,

such as this ؟

מִ֤י

mî

רָאָה֙

rā·’āh

؟ כָּאֵ֔לֶּה

kā·’êl·leh,

these [things] ؟

הֲי֤וּחַל

hă·yū·ḥal

shall be made to give birth

אֶ֙רֶץ֙

’e·reṣ

؟ בְּי֣וֹם

bə·yō·wm

in day ؟

אֶחָ֔ד

’e·ḥāḏ,

אִם־

’im-

[Or] shall

יִוָּ֥לֵֽד

yiw·wā·lêḏ

גּ֖וֹי

gō·w

פַּ֣עַם

pa·‘am

؟ אֶחָ֑ת

’e·ḥāṯ;

one ؟

כִּֽי־

kî-

､ חָ֛לָה

ḥā·lāh

was in labor ､

גַּם־

gam-

as soon as

יָלְדָ֥ה

yā·lə·ḏāh

צִיּ֖וֹן

ṣî·yō·wn

אֶת־

’eṯ-

-

. בָּנֶֽיהָ׃

bā·ne·hā.

to her children .

הַאֲנִ֥י

ha·’ă·nî

､ אַשְׁבִּ֛יר

’aš·bîr

bring to the time of birth ､

וְלֹ֥א

wə·lō

and not

؟ אוֹלִ֖יד

’ō·w·lîḏ

cause delivery ؟

יֹאמַ֣ר

yō·mar

. יְהוָ֑ה

Yah·weh;

אִם־

’im-

Or

אֲנִ֧י

’ă·nî

I

､ הַמּוֹלִ֛יד

ham·mō·w·lîḏ

shall who cause delivery ､

וְעָצַ֖רְתִּי

wə·‘ā·ṣar·tî

and shut up [the womb]

אָמַ֥ר

’ā·mar

. אֱלֹהָֽיִךְ׃

’ĕ·lō·hā·yiḵ.

שִׂמְח֧וּ

śim·ḥū

אֶת־

’eṯ-

with

､ יְרוּשָׁלִַ֛ם

yə·rū·šā·lim

וְגִ֥ילוּ

wə·ḡî·lū

and be glad

בָ֖הּ

ḇāh

with her

כָּל־

kāl-

אֹהֲבֶ֑יהָ

’ō·hă·ḇe·hā;

you who love her

שִׂ֤ישׂוּ

śî·śū

אִתָּהּ֙

’it·tāh

with her

מָשׂ֔וֹשׂ

mā·śō·wś,

כָּל־

kāl-

הַמִּֽתְאַבְּלִ֖ים

ham·miṯ·’ab·bə·lîm

. עָלֶֽיהָ׃

‘ā·le·hā.

לְמַ֤עַן

lə·ma·‘an

､ תִּֽינְקוּ֙

tî·nə·qū

you may feed ､

וּשְׂבַעְתֶּ֔ם

ū·śə·ḇa‘·tem,

and be satisfied

מִשֹּׁ֖ד

miš·šōḏ

with the consolation

– תַּנְחֻמֶ֑יהָ

tan·ḥu·me·hā;

of her bosom –

לְמַ֧עַן

lə·ma·‘an

､ תָּמֹ֛צּוּ

tā·mōṣ·ṣū

you may drink deeply ､

וְהִתְעַנַּגְתֶּ֖ם

wə·hiṯ·‘an·naḡ·tem

and be delighted

מִזִּ֥יז

miz·zîz

with the abundance

. כְּבוֹדָֽהּ׃

kə·ḇō·w·ḏāh.

Yah·weh

הִנְנִ֣י

hin·nî

נֹטֶֽה־

I will extend

אֵ֠לֶיהָ

’ê·le·hā

to her

､ כְּנָהָ֨ר

kə·nā·hār

like a river ､

שָׁל֜וֹם

šā·lō·wm

– וּכְנַ֧חַל

ū·ḵə·na·ḥal

and like a stream –

שׁוֹטֵ֛ף

šō·w·ṭêp̄

כְּב֥וֹד

kə·ḇō·wḏ

גּוֹיִ֖ם

gō·w·yim

of the Gentiles

､ וִֽינַקְתֶּ֑ם

wî·naq·tem;

then you shall feed ､

עַל־

‘al-

On

､ צַד֙

ṣaḏ

[her] sides ､

תִּנָּשֵׂ֔אוּ

tin·nā·śê·’ū,

shall you be carried

וְעַל־

wə·‘al-

and on

בִּרְכַּ֖יִם

bir·ka·yim

. תְּשָׁעֳשָֽׁעוּ׃

tə·šā·‘o·šā·‘ū.

כְּאִ֕ישׁ

kə·’îš

As one

אֲשֶׁ֥ר

’ă·šer

אִמּ֖וֹ

’im·mōw

､ תְּנַחֲמֶ֑נּוּ

tə·na·ḥă·men·nū;

כֵּ֤ן

kên

so

אָֽנֹכִי֙

’ā·nō·ḵî

I

אֲנַ֣חֶמְכֶ֔ם

’ă·na·ḥem·ḵem,

will comfort you

וּבִירֽוּשָׁלִַ֖ם

ū·ḇî·rū·šā·lim

and in Jerusalem

. תְּנֻחָֽמוּ׃

tə·nu·ḥā·mū.

you shall be comforted .

וּרְאִיתֶם֙

ū·rə·’î·ṯem

And when you see [this]

､ וְשָׂ֣שׂ

wə·śāś

and shall rejoice ､

לִבְּכֶ֔ם

lib·bə·ḵem,

וְעַצְמוֹתֵיכֶ֖ם

wə·‘aṣ·mō·w·ṯê·ḵem

– כַּדֶּ֣שֶׁא

kad·de·še

תִפְרַ֑חְנָה

ṯip̄·raḥ·nāh;

וְנוֹדְעָ֤ה

wə·nō·wḏ·‘āh

and shall be known

יַד־

yaḏ-

the hand

יְהוָה֙

Yah·weh

אֶת־

’eṯ-

to

､ עֲבָדָ֔יו

‘ă·ḇā·ḏāw,

His servants ､

וְזָעַ֖ם

wə·zā·‘am

and [His] indignation

אֶת־

’eṯ-

to

. אֹיְבָֽיו׃

’ō·yə·ḇāw.

God's Final Judgments against the Wicked

､ כִּֽי־

kî-

For ､

､ הִנֵּ֤ה

hin·nêh

יְהוָה֙

Yah·weh

､ בָּאֵ֣שׁ

bā·’êš

with fire ､

יָב֔וֹא

yā·ḇō·w,

will come

､ וְכַסּוּפָ֖ה

wə·ḵas·sū·p̄āh

and like a whirlwind ､

מַרְכְּבֹתָ֑יו

mar·kə·ḇō·ṯāw;

with His chariots

לְהָשִׁ֤יב

lə·hā·šîḇ

､ בְּחֵמָה֙

bə·ḥê·māh

with fury ､

אַפּ֔וֹ

’ap·pōw,

וְגַעֲרָת֖וֹ

wə·ḡa·‘ă·rā·ṯōw

בְּלַהֲבֵי־

bə·la·hă·ḇê-

. אֵֽשׁ׃

’êš.

of fire .

כִּ֤י

kî

בָאֵשׁ֙

ḇā·’êš

יְהוָ֣ה

Yah·weh

נִשְׁפָּ֔ט

niš·pāṭ,

will judge

וּבְחַרְבּ֖וֹ

ū·ḇə·ḥar·bōw

and by His sword

אֶת־

’eṯ-

with

כָּל־

kāl-

､ בָּשָׂ֑ר

bā·śār;

וְרַבּ֖וּ

wə·rab·bū

and shall be many

חַֽלְלֵ֥י

ḥal·lê

. יְהוָֽה׃

Yah·weh.

､ הַמִּתְקַדְּשִׁ֨ים

ham·miṯ·qad·də·šîm

Those who sanctify themselves ､

וְהַמִּֽטַּהֲרִ֜ים

wə·ham·miṭ·ṭa·hă·rîm

and purify themselves

אֶל־

’el-

[To go] to

הַגַּנּ֗וֹת

hag·gan·nō·wṯ,

אַחַ֤ר

’a·ḥar

[אחד]

’e·ḥaḏ

(אַחַת֙)

’a·ḥaṯ

､ בַּתָּ֔וֶךְ

bat·tā·weḵ,

in the midst ､

אֹֽכְלֵי֙

’ō·ḵə·lê

､ בְּשַׂ֣ר

bə·śar

הַחֲזִ֔יר

ha·ḥă·zîr,

､ וְהַשֶּׁ֖קֶץ

wə·haš·še·qeṣ

and the abomination ､

､ וְהָעַכְבָּ֑ר

wə·hā·‘aḵ·bār;

and the mouse ､

､ יַחְדָּ֥ו

yaḥ·dāw

יָסֻ֖פוּ

yā·su·p̄ū

shall be consumed

נְאֻם־

nə·’um-

. יְהוָֽה׃

Yah·weh.

וְאָנֹכִ֗י

wə·’ā·nō·ḵî,

מַעֲשֵׂיהֶם֙

ma·‘ă·śê·hem

– וּמַחְשְׁבֹ֣תֵיהֶ֔ם

ū·maḥ·šə·ḇō·ṯê·hem,

and their thoughts –

､ בָּאָ֕ה

bā·’āh

it shall be ､

לְקַבֵּ֥ץ

lə·qab·bêṣ

that I will gather

אֶת־

’eṯ-

-

כָּל־

kāl-

הַגּוֹיִ֖ם

hag·gō·w·yim

– וְהַלְּשֹׁנ֑וֹת

wə·hal·lə·šō·nō·wṯ;

and tongues –

､ וּבָ֖אוּ

ū·ḇā·’ū

and they shall come ､

וְרָא֥וּ

wə·rā·’ū

and see

אֶת־

’eṯ-

-

. כְּבוֹדִֽי׃

kə·ḇō·w·ḏî.

My glory .

וְשַׂמְתִּ֨י

wə·śam·tî

And I will set

בָהֶ֜ם

ḇā·hem

א֗וֹת

’ō·wṯ,

וְשִׁלַּחְתִּ֣י

wə·šil·laḥ·tî

and I will send

מֵהֶ֣ם ׀

mê·hem

פְּ֠לֵיטִים

pə·lê·ṭîm

those among them who escape

אֶֽל־

’el-

to

､ הַגּוֹיִ֞ם

hag·gō·w·yim

the nations ､

､ תַּרְשִׁ֨ישׁ

tar·šîš

[to] Tarshish ､

､ פּ֥וּל

pūl

and Pul ､

､ וְל֛וּד

wə·lūḏ

and Lud ､

מֹ֥שְׁכֵי

mō·šə·ḵê

､ קֶ֖שֶׁת

qe·šeṯ

the bow ､

､ תֻּבַ֣ל

tu·ḇal

and Tubal ､

､ וְיָוָ֑ן

wə·yā·wān;

and Greece ､

הָאִיִּ֣ים

hā·’î·yîm

[to] the coastlands

､ הָרְחֹקִ֗ים

hā·rə·ḥō·qîm,

אֲשֶׁ֨ר

’ă·šer

לֹא־

lō-

not

שָׁמְע֤וּ

šā·mə·‘ū

אֶת־

’eṯ-

-

､ שִׁמְעִי֙

šim·‘î

My fame ､

וְלֹא־

wə·lō-

רָא֣וּ

rā·’ū

אֶת־

’eṯ-

-

– כְּבוֹדִ֔י

kə·ḇō·w·ḏî,

My glory –

וְהִגִּ֥ידוּ

wə·hig·gî·ḏū

and they shall declare

אֶת־

’eṯ-

-

כְּבוֹדִ֖י

kə·ḇō·w·ḏî

. בַּגּוֹיִֽם׃

bag·gō·w·yim.

among the Gentiles .

וְהֵבִ֣יאוּ

wə·hê·ḇî·’ū

And they shall bring

אֶת־

’eṯ-

-

כָּל־

kāl-

אֲחֵיכֶ֣ם

’ă·ḥê·ḵem

מִכָּל־

mik·kāl

הַגּוֹיִ֣ם ׀

hag·gō·w·yim

מִנְחָ֣ה ׀

min·ḥāh

for an offering

לַֽיהוָ֡ה

Yah·weh

､ בַּסּוּסִ֡ים

bas·sū·sîm

on horses ､

､ וּ֠בָרֶכֶב

ū·ḇā·re·ḵeḇ

and in chariots ､

､ וּבַצַּבִּ֨ים

ū·ḇaṣ·ṣab·bîm

and in litters ､

､ וּבַפְּרָדִ֜ים

ū·ḇap·pə·rā·ḏîm

and on mules ､

､ וּבַכִּרְכָּר֗וֹת

ū·ḇak·kir·kā·rō·wṯ,

and on camels ､

עַ֣ל

‘al

to

הַ֥ר

har

קָדְשִׁ֛י

qāḏ·šî

､ יְרוּשָׁלִַ֖ם

yə·rū·šā·lim

אָמַ֣ר

’ā·mar

､ יְהוָ֑ה

Yah·weh;

כַּאֲשֶׁ֣ר

ka·’ă·šer

as

יָבִיאוּ֩

yā·ḇî·’ū

בְנֵ֨י

ḇə·nê

the sons

יִשְׂרָאֵ֧ל

yiś·rā·’êl

אֶת־

’eṯ-

-

הַמִּנְחָ֛ה

ham·min·ḥāh

בִּכְלִ֥י

biḵ·lî

טָה֖וֹר

ṭā·hō·wr

בֵּ֥ית

bêṯ

. יְהוָֽה׃

Yah·weh.

וְגַם־

wə·ḡam-

And also

מֵהֶ֥ם

mê·hem

אֶקַּ֛ח

’eq·qaḥ

I will take

לַכֹּהֲנִ֥ים

lak·kō·hă·nîm

､ לַלְוִיִּ֖ם

lal·wî·yim

[and] Levites ､

אָמַ֥ר

’ā·mar

. יְהוָֽה׃

Yah·weh.

כִּ֣י

kî

כַאֲשֶׁ֣ר

ḵa·’ă·šer

as

הַשָּׁמַ֣יִם

haš·šā·ma·yim

הַ֠חֳדָשִׁים

ha·ḥo·ḏā·šîm

､ וְהָאָ֨רֶץ

wə·hā·’ā·reṣ

and the earth ､

הַחֲדָשָׁ֜ה

ha·ḥă·ḏā·šāh

אֲשֶׁ֨ר

’ă·šer

אֲנִ֥י

’ă·nî

I

､ עֹשֶׂ֛ה

‘ō·śeh

will make ､

עֹמְדִ֥ים

‘ō·mə·ḏîm

לְפָנַ֖י

lə·p̄ā·nay

נְאֻם־

nə·’um-

､ יְהוָ֑ה

Yah·weh;

כֵּ֛ן

kên

so

יַעֲמֹ֥ד

ya·‘ă·mōḏ

זַרְעֲכֶ֖ם

zar·‘ă·ḵem

your descendants

. וְשִׁמְכֶֽם׃

wə·šim·ḵem.

and your name .

､ וְהָיָ֗ה

wə·hā·yāh,

And it shall come to pass ､

מִֽדֵּי־

mid·dê-

חֹ֙דֶשׁ֙

ḥō·ḏeš

､ בְּחָדְשׁ֔וֹ

bə·ḥā·ḏə·šōw,

to another ､

וּמִדֵּ֥י

ū·mid·dê

and from

שַׁבָּ֖ת

šab·bāṯ

､ בְּשַׁבַּתּ֑וֹ

bə·šab·bat·tōw;

to another ､

יָב֧וֹא

yā·ḇō·w

כָל־

ḵāl

בָּשָׂ֛ר

bā·śār

לְהִשְׁתַּחֲוֺ֥ת

lə·hiš·ta·ḥă·wōṯ

לְפָנַ֖י

lə·p̄ā·nay

אָמַ֥ר

’ā·mar

. יְהוָֽה׃

Yah·weh.

､ וְיָצְא֣וּ

wə·yā·ṣə·’ū

And they shall go forth ､

וְרָא֔וּ

wə·rā·’ū,

and look

בְּפִגְרֵי֙

bə·p̄iḡ·rê

Upon the corpses

הָאֲנָשִׁ֔ים

hā·’ă·nā·šîm,

of the men

הַפֹּשְׁעִ֖ים

hap·pō·šə·‘îm

who have transgressed

בִּ֑י

bî;

כִּ֣י

kî

תוֹלַעְתָּ֞ם

ṯō·w·la‘·tām

לֹ֣א

lō

not

､ תָמ֗וּת

ṯā·mūṯ,

וְאִשָּׁם֙

wə·’iš·šām

לֹ֣א

lō

not

– תִכְבֶּ֔ה

ṯiḵ·beh,

is quenched –

וְהָי֥וּ

wə·hā·yū

and they shall be

דֵרָא֖וֹן

ḏê·rā·’ō·wn

לְכָל־

lə·ḵāl

to all

. בָּשָֽׂר׃

bā·śār.
