מִצְרַ֙יִם֙
miṣ·ra·yim
､ כַּיְאֹ֣ר
kay·’ōr
like the Nile ､
יַֽעֲלֶ֔ה
ya·‘ă·leh,
– וְכַנְּהָר֖וֹת
wə·ḵan·nə·hā·rō·wṯ
and like the rivers –
יִתְגֹּ֣עֲשׁוּ
yiṯ·gō·‘ă·šū
מָ֑יִם
mā·yim;
､ וַיֹּ֗אמֶר
way·yō·mer,
and he says ､
､ אַֽעֲלֶה֙
’a·‘ă·leh
I will go up ､
אֲכַסֶּה־
’ă·ḵas·seh-
[and] cover
– אֶ֔רֶץ
’e·reṣ,
the earth –
אֹבִ֥ידָה
’ō·ḇî·ḏāh
I will destroy
עִ֖יר
‘îr
the city
וְיֹ֥שְׁבֵי
wə·yō·šə·ḇê
. בָֽהּ׃
ḇāh.
