וַיֹּ֤אמֶר

And spoke
יְהוֹשֻׁ֙עַ֙
yə·hō·wō·šu·a‘
אֶל־
’el-
to
､ הַכֹּהֲנִ֣ים
hak·kō·hă·nîm
the priests ､
､ לֵאמֹ֔ר
lê·mōr,
saying ､
שְׂאוּ֙
śə·’ū
take up
אֶת־
’eṯ-
-
אֲר֣וֹן
’ă·rō·wn
the ark
､ הַבְּרִ֔ית
hab·bə·rîṯ,
of the covenant ､
וְעִבְר֖וּ
wə·‘iḇ·rū
לִפְנֵ֣י
lip̄·nê
. הָעָ֑ם
hā·‘ām;
the people .
וַיִּשְׂאוּ֙
way·yiś·’ū
So they took up
אֶת־
’eṯ-
-
אֲר֣וֹן
’ă·rō·wn
the ark
､ הַבְּרִ֔ית
hab·bə·rîṯ,
of the covenant ､
וַיֵּלְכ֖וּ
way·yê·lə·ḵū
and went
לִפְנֵ֥י
lip̄·nê
. הָעָֽם׃
hā·‘ām.
the people .
