on the skin

בְּשָׂרוֹ֙

､ שְׂאֵ֤ת

אֽוֹ־

’ōw-

or

､ סַפַּ֙חַת֙

sap·pa·ḥaṯ

a scab ､

א֣וֹ

’ōw

or

､ בַהֶ֔רֶת

ḇa·he·reṯ,

a bright spot ､

וְהָיָ֥ה

wə·hā·yāh

and it becomes

בְעוֹר־

ḇə·‘ō·wr-

on the skin

בְּשָׂר֖וֹ

bə·śā·rōw

לְנֶ֣גַע

lə·ne·ḡa‘

､ צָרָ֑עַת

ṣā·rā·‘aṯ;

וְהוּבָא֙

wə·hū·ḇā

then he shall be brought

אֶל־

’el-

to

אַהֲרֹ֣ן

’a·hă·rōn

､ הַכֹּהֵ֔ן

hak·kō·hên,

the priest ､

א֛וֹ

’ōw

or

אֶל־

’el-

to

אַחַ֥ד

’a·ḥaḏ

מִבָּנָ֖יו

mib·bā·nāw

. הַכֹּהֲנִֽים׃

hak·kō·hă·nîm.

וְרָאָ֣ה

wə·rā·’āh

And shall examine

הַכֹּהֵ֣ן

hak·kō·hên

אֶת־

’eṯ-

-

הַנֶּ֣גַע

han·ne·ḡa‘

the sore

בְּעֽוֹר־

bə·‘ō·wr-

on the skin

. הַ֠בָּשָׂר

hab·bā·śār

of the body .

וְשֵׂעָ֨ר

wə·śê·‘ār

And if the hair

בַּנֶּ֜גַע

ban·ne·ḡa‘

on the sore

הָפַ֣ךְ ׀

hā·p̄aḵ

､ לָבָ֗ן

lā·ḇān,

וּמַרְאֵ֤ה

ū·mar·’êh

and

הַנֶּ֙גַע֙

han·ne·ḡa‘

the sore

עָמֹק֙

‘ā·mōq

[appears to be] deeper

מֵע֣וֹר

mê·‘ō·wr

､ בְּשָׂר֔וֹ

bə·śā·rōw,

of his body ､

נֶ֥גַע

ne·ḡa‘

[is] a sore

צָרַ֖עַת

ṣā·ra·‘aṯ

– ה֑וּא

hū;

it –

וְרָאָ֥הוּ

wə·rā·’ā·hū

and shall examine him

הַכֹּהֵ֖ן

hak·kō·hên

וְטִמֵּ֥א

wə·ṭim·mê

and pronounce unclean

. אֹתֽוֹ׃

’ō·ṯōw.

וְאִם־

wə·’im-

But if

בַּהֶרֶת֩

ba·he·reṯ

the bright spot

לְבָנָ֨ה

lə·ḇā·nāh

הִ֜וא

hî

is

בְּע֣וֹר

bə·‘ō·wr

on the skin

､ בְּשָׂר֗וֹ

bə·śā·rōw,

of his body ､

וְעָמֹק֙

wə·‘ā·mōq

and [is] deeper

אֵין־

’ên-

not

מַרְאֶ֣הָ

mar·’e·hā

מִן־

min-

､ הָע֔וֹר

hā·‘ō·wr,

the skin ､

וּשְׂעָרָ֖ה

ū·śə·‘ā·rāh

לֹא־

lō-

הָפַ֣ךְ

hā·p̄aḵ

､ לָבָ֑ן

lā·ḇān;

וְהִסְגִּ֧יר

wə·his·gîr

then shall isolate

הַכֹּהֵ֛ן

hak·kō·hên

אֶת־

’eṯ-

הַנֶּ֖גַע

han·ne·ḡa‘

the [one who has the] sore

שִׁבְעַ֥ת

šiḇ·‘aṯ

. יָמִֽים׃

yā·mîm.

וְרָאָ֣הוּ

wə·rā·’ā·hū

And shall examine him

הַכֹּהֵן֮

hak·kō·hên

､ בַּיּ֣וֹם

bay·yō·wm

on the day ､

הַשְּׁבִיעִי֒

haš·šə·ḇî·‘î

､ וְהִנֵּ֤ה

wə·hin·nêh

and indeed [if] ､

הַנֶּ֙גַע֙

han·ne·ḡa‘

the sore

עָמַ֣ד

‘ā·maḏ

､ בְּעֵינָ֔יו

bə·‘ê·nāw,

in his eyes ､

לֹֽא־

lō-

not

פָשָׂ֥ה

p̄ā·śāh

הַנֶּ֖גַע

han·ne·ḡa‘

[and] the sore

､ בָּע֑וֹר

bā·‘ō·wr;

on the skin ､

וְהִסְגִּיר֧וֹ

wə·his·gî·rōw

then shall isolate him

הַכֹּהֵ֛ן

hak·kō·hên

שִׁבְעַ֥ת

šiḇ·‘aṯ

יָמִ֖ים

yā·mîm

– שֵׁנִֽית׃

šê·nîṯ.

וְרָאָה֩

wə·rā·’āh

and shall examine

הַכֹּהֵ֨ן

hak·kō·hên

אֹת֜וֹ

’ō·ṯōw

､ בַּיּ֣וֹם

bay·yō·wm

on the day ､

הַשְּׁבִיעִי֮

haš·šə·ḇî·‘î

､ שֵׁנִית֒

šê·nîṯ

､ וְהִנֵּה֙

wə·hin·nêh

and indeed [if] ､

כֵּהָ֣ה

kê·hāh

הַנֶּ֔גַע

han·ne·ḡa‘,

the sore

וְלֹא־

wə·lō-

and [and] not

פָשָׂ֥ה

p̄ā·śāh

הַנֶּ֖גַע

han·ne·ḡa‘

the sore

､ בָּע֑וֹר

bā·‘ō·wr;

on the skin ､

וְטִהֲר֤וֹ

wə·ṭi·hă·rōw

then shall pronounce him clean

. הַכֹּהֵן֙

hak·kō·hên

the priest .

מִסְפַּ֣חַת

mis·pa·ḥaṯ

[is only] a scab

､ הִ֔יא

hî,

it ､

וְכִבֶּ֥ס

wə·ḵib·bes

and he shall wash

､ בְּגָדָ֖יו

bə·ḡā·ḏāw

his clothes ､

. וְטָהֵֽר׃

wə·ṭā·hêr.

and be clean .

וְאִם־

wə·’im-

But if

פָּשֹׂ֨ה

pā·śōh

at all

תִפְשֶׂ֤ה

ṯip̄·śeh

הַמִּסְפַּ֙חַת֙

ham·mis·pa·ḥaṯ

the scab

､ בָּע֔וֹר

bā·‘ō·wr,

over the skin ､

אַחֲרֵ֧י

’a·ḥă·rê

הֵרָאֹת֛וֹ

hê·rā·’ō·ṯōw

he has been seen

אֶל־

’el-

by

הַכֹּהֵ֖ן

hak·kō·hên

､ לְטָהֳרָת֑וֹ

lə·ṭā·ho·rā·ṯōw;

for his cleansing ､

וְנִרְאָ֥ה

wə·nir·’āh

and he shall be seen

שֵׁנִ֖ית

šê·nîṯ

a second [time]

אֶל־

’el-

by

. הַכֹּהֵֽן׃

hak·kō·hên.

the priest .

וְרָאָה֙

wə·rā·’āh

And [if] sees

הַכֹּהֵ֔ן

hak·kō·hên,

וְהִנֵּ֛ה

wə·hin·nêh

פָּשְׂתָ֥ה

pā·śə·ṯāh

הַמִּסְפַּ֖חַת

ham·mis·pa·ḥaṯ

the scab

､ בָּע֑וֹר

on the skin ､

וְטִמְּא֥וֹ

then shall pronounce him unclean

– הַכֹּהֵ֖ן

and shall examine [him]

הַכֹּהֵ֗ן

､ וְהִנֵּ֤ה

and [if] indeed ､

שְׂאֵת־

śə·’êṯ-

לְבָנָה֙

lə·ḇā·nāh

[is] white

､ בָּע֔וֹר

bā·‘ō·wr,

on the skin ､

וְהִ֕יא

wə·hî

and it

הָפְכָ֖ה

hā·p̄ə·ḵāh

שֵׂעָ֣ר

śê·‘ār

the hair

､ לָבָ֑ן

lā·ḇān;

וּמִֽחְיַ֛ת

ū·miḥ·yaṯ

and [there is] a spot

בָּשָׂ֥ר

bā·śār

חַ֖י

ḥay

､ בַּשְׂאֵֽת׃

in the swelling ､

צָרַ֨עַת

ṣā·ra·‘aṯ

[is] an leprosy

נוֹשֶׁ֤נֶת

הִוא֙

､ בְּשָׂר֔וֹ

וְטִמְּא֖וֹ

and [if] indeed ､

כִסְּתָ֤ה

הַצָּרַ֙עַת֙

haṣ·ṣā·ra·‘aṯ

אֶת־

’eṯ-

כָּל־

､ בְּשָׂר֔וֹ

bə·śā·rōw,

וְטִהַ֖ר

wə·ṭi·har

and he shall pronounce [him] clean

אֶת־

’eṯ-

– הַנָּ֑גַע

､ לְבָנָ֔ה

ḇa·he·reṯ

､ לְבָנָ֣ה

､ אֲדַמְדָּ֑מֶת

וְנִרְאָ֖ה

then it shall be shown

וְטִמְּא֧וֹ

and shall pronounce him unclean

in the fire

､ תִּשְׂרְפֶ֑נּוּ

tiś·rə·p̄en·nū;

and you shall burn it ､

פְּחֶ֣תֶת

pə·ḥe·ṯeṯ

continues eating away

הִ֔וא

hî

it

בְּקָרַחְתּ֖וֹ

bə·qā·raḥ·tōw

[whether] the damage [is] inside

א֥וֹ

’ōw

or

. בְגַבַּחְתּֽוֹ׃

ḇə·ḡab·baḥ·tōw.

וְאִם֮

wə·’im

And if

רָאָ֣ה

rā·’āh

､ הַכֹּהֵן֒

hak·kō·hên

the priest ､

וְהִנֵּה֙

wə·hin·nêh

כֵּהָ֣ה

kê·hāh

הַנֶּ֔גַע

han·ne·ḡa‘,

אַחֲרֵ֖י

’a·ḥă·rê

הֻכַּבֵּ֣ס

huk·kab·bês

､ אֹת֑וֹ

’ō·ṯōw;

it ､

וְקָרַ֣ע

wə·qā·ra‘

then he shall tear

אֹת֗וֹ

’ō·ṯōw,

it

､ הַבֶּ֙גֶד֙

hab·be·ḡeḏ

of the garment ､

א֣וֹ

’ōw

or

､ הָע֔וֹר

hā·‘ō·wr,

of the leather ､

א֥וֹ

､ הַשְּׁתִ֖י

of the warp ､

. הָעֵֽרֶב׃

of the woof .

וְאִם־

wə·’im-

But if

תֵּרָאֶ֨ה

tê·rā·’eh

ע֜וֹד

‘ō·wḏ

､ בַּ֠בֶּגֶד

bab·be·ḡeḏ

in the garment ､

אֽוֹ־

’ōw-

､ בַשְּׁתִ֤י

ḇaš·šə·ṯî

in the warp ､

אֽוֹ־

’ōw-

or

､ בָעֵ֙רֶב֙

ḇā·‘ê·reḇ

in the woof ､

א֣וֹ

’ōw

or

בְכָל־

ḇə·ḵāl-

כְּלִי־

kə·lî-

､ ע֔וֹר

‘ō·wr,

of leather ､

פֹּרַ֖חַת

pō·ra·ḥaṯ

[is] a spreading [plague]

– הִ֑וא

בָּאֵ֣שׁ

with fire

תִּשְׂרְפֶ֔נּוּ

tiś·rə·p̄en·nū,

אֵ֥ת

אֲשֶׁר־

which [is]

the plague .

､ וְהַבֶּ֡גֶד

And if the garment ､

אֽוֹ־

’ōw-

､ הַשְּׁתִ֨י

warp ､

אוֹ־

’ōw-

or

､ הָעֵ֜רֶב

hā·‘ê·reḇ

woof ､

אֽוֹ־

’ōw-

or

כָל־

ḵāl

כְּלִ֤י

kə·lî

הָעוֹר֙

hā·‘ō·wr

､ אֲשֶׁ֣ר

’ă·šer

that [is] ､

– תְּכַבֵּ֔ס

tə·ḵab·bês,

וְסָ֥ר

wə·sār

and if has disappeared

מֵהֶ֖ם

mê·hem

､ הַנָּ֑גַע

han·nā·ḡa‘;

the plague ､

וְכֻבַּ֥ס

wə·ḵub·bas

then it shall be washed

､ שֵׁנִ֖ית

šê·nîṯ

a second [time] ､

. וְטָהֵֽר׃

wə·ṭā·hêr.

and shall be clean .

זֹ֠את

zōṯ

תּוֹרַ֨ת

tō·w·raṯ

[is] the law

נֶֽגַע־

ne·ḡa‘-

of the plague

צָרַ֜עַת

ṣā·ra·‘aṯ

בֶּ֥גֶד

be·ḡeḏ

הַצֶּ֣מֶר ׀

haṣ·ṣe·mer

א֣וֹ

’ōw

or

､ הַפִּשְׁתִּ֗ים

hap·piš·tîm,

א֤וֹ

’ōw

､ הַשְּׁתִי֙

in the warp ､

א֣וֹ

to pronounce it clean ､
