אַ֥שְֽׁרֵי־
’aš·rê-
Blessed [is]
הָאִ֗ישׁ
hā·’îš,
the man
אֲשֶׁ֤ר ׀
’ă·šer
לֹ֥א
lō
not
הָלַךְ֮
hā·laḵ
בַּעֲצַ֪ת
ba·‘ă·ṣaṯ
in the counsel
､ רְשָׁ֫עִ֥ים
rə·šā·‘îm
of the ungodly ､
וּבְדֶ֣רֶךְ
ū·ḇə·ḏe·reḵ
and in the path
､ חַ֭טָּאִים
ḥaṭ·ṭā·’îm
of the sinful ､
לֹ֥א
lō
עָמָ֑ד
‘ā·māḏ;
וּבְמוֹשַׁ֥ב
ū·ḇə·mō·wō·šaḇ
and in the seat
לֵ֝צִ֗ים
lê·ṣîm,
of the scornful
לֹ֣א
lō
. יָשָֽׁב׃
yā·šāḇ.

כִּ֤י
kî
אִ֥ם
’im
but
בְּתוֹרַ֥ת
bə·ṯō·w·raṯ
in the law
יְהוָ֗ה
Yah·weh
חֶ֫פְצ֥וֹ
ḥep̄·ṣōw
וּֽבְתוֹרָת֥וֹ
ū·ḇə·ṯō·w·rā·ṯōw
and in His law
יֶהְגֶּ֗ה
yeh·geh,
יוֹמָ֥ם
yō·w·mām
. וָלָֽיְלָה׃
wā·lā·yə·lāh.
and night .

וְֽהָיָ֗ה
wə·hā·yāh,
And He shall be
כְּעֵץ֮
kə·‘êṣ
שָׁת֪וּל
šā·ṯūl
עַֽל־
‘al-
by
פַּלְגֵ֫י
pal·ḡê
the rivers
､ מָ֥יִם
mā·yim
of water ､
אֲשֶׁ֤ר
’ă·šer
פִּרְי֨וֹ ׀
pir·yōw
יִתֵּ֬ן
yit·tên
– בְּעִתּ֗וֹ
bə·‘it·tōw,
in its season –
וְעָלֵ֥הוּ
wə·‘ā·lê·hū
לֹֽא־
lō-
not
– יִבּ֑וֹל
yib·bō·wl;
וְכֹ֖ל
wə·ḵōl
and
אֲשֶׁר־
’ă·šer-
יַעֲשֶׂ֣ה
ya·‘ă·śeh
he does
. יַצְלִֽיחַ׃
yaṣ·lî·aḥ.

לֹא־
lō-
Not
､ כֵ֥ן
ḵên
so ､
הָרְשָׁעִ֑ים
hā·rə·šā·‘îm;
the ungodly [are]
כִּ֥י
kî
אִם־
’im-
but
כַּ֝מֹּ֗ץ
kam·mōṣ,
[are] like the chaff
אֲ‍ֽשֶׁר־
’ăšer-
תִּדְּפֶ֥נּוּ
tid·də·p̄en·nū
. רֽוּחַ׃
rū·aḥ.
the wind .

עַל־
‘al-
כֵּ֤ן ׀
kên
לֹא־
lō-
not
יָקֻ֣מוּ
yā·qu·mū
רְ֭שָׁעִים
rə·šā·‘îm
､ בַּמִּשְׁפָּ֑ט
bam·miš·pāṭ;
in the judgment ､
וְ֝חַטָּאִ֗ים
wə·ḥaṭ·ṭā·’îm,
בַּעֲדַ֥ת
ba·‘ă·ḏaṯ
. צַדִּיקִֽים׃
ṣad·dî·qîm.
of the righteous .

כִּֽי־
kî-
יוֹדֵ֣עַ
yō·w·ḏê·a‘
יְ֭הוָה
Yah·weh
דֶּ֣רֶךְ
de·reḵ
the way
､ צַדִּיקִ֑ים
ṣad·dî·qîm;
of the righteous ､
וְדֶ֖רֶךְ
wə·ḏe·reḵ
but the way
רְשָׁעִ֣ים
rə·šā·‘îm
of the ungodly
. תֹּאבֵֽד׃
tō·ḇêḏ.
