. הַֽמַּעֲל֑וֹת
ham·ma·‘ă·lō·wṯ;
of Ascents .
מִמַּעֲמַקִּ֖ים
mim·ma·‘ă·maq·qîm
Out of the depths
קְרָאתִ֣יךָ
qə·rā·ṯî·ḵā
. יְהוָֽה׃
Yah·weh.

､ אֲדֹנָי֮
’ă·ḏō·nāy
Lord ､
שִׁמְעָ֪ה
šim·‘āh
! בְק֫וֹלִ֥י
ḇə·qō·w·lî
my voice !
תִּהְיֶ֣ינָה
tih·ye·nāh
let be
אָ֭זְנֶיךָ
’ā·zə·ne·ḵā
קַשֻּׁב֑וֹת
qaš·šu·ḇō·wṯ;
לְ֝ק֗וֹל
lə·qō·wl,
to the voice
. תַּחֲנוּנָֽי׃
ta·ḥă·nū·nāy.

אִם־
’im-
If
､ עֲוֺנ֥וֹת
‘ă·wō·nō·wṯ
תִּשְׁמָר־
tiš·mār-
､ יָ֑הּ
yāh;
YAH ､
､ אֲ֝דֹנָ֗י
’ă·ḏō·nāy,
Lord ､
מִ֣י
mî
؟ יַעֲמֹֽד׃
ya·‘ă·mōḏ.

כִּֽי־
kî-
but
עִמְּךָ֥
‘im·mə·ḵā
with You
הַסְּלִיחָ֑ה
has·sə·lî·ḥāh;
לְ֝מַ֗עַן
lə·ma·‘an,
. תִּוָּרֵֽא׃
tiw·wā·rê.

קִוִּ֣יתִי
qiw·wî·ṯî
､ יְ֭הוָה
Yah·weh
Yahweh ､
､ קִוְּתָ֣ה
qiw·wə·ṯāh
waits ､
נַפְשִׁ֑י
nap̄·šî;
my soul
וְֽלִדְבָר֥וֹ
wə·liḏ·ḇā·rōw
and in His word
. הוֹחָֽלְתִּי׃
hō·w·ḥā·lə·tî.
I do hope .

נַפְשִׁ֥י
nap̄·šî
My soul [waits]
לַֽאדֹנָ֑י
la·ḏō·nāy;
for the Lord
מִשֹּׁמְרִ֥ים
miš·šō·mə·rîm
– לַ֝בֹּ֗קֶר
lab·bō·qer,
for the morning –
שֹׁמְרִ֥ים
šō·mə·rîm
. לַבֹּֽקֶר׃
lab·bō·qer.
for the morning .

יַחֵ֥ל
ya·ḥêl
יִשְׂרָאֵ֗ל
yiś·rā·’êl,
אֶל־
’el-
in
– יְה֫וָה
Yah·weh
Yahweh –
כִּֽי־
kî-
עִם־
‘im-
with
יְהוָ֥ה
Yah·weh
､ הַחֶ֑סֶד
ha·ḥe·seḏ;
[there is] mercy ､
וְהַרְבֵּ֖ה
wə·har·bêh
עִמּ֣וֹ
‘im·mōw
with Him
. פְדֽוּת׃
p̄ə·ḏūṯ.
[is] redemption .

וְ֭הוּא
wə·hū
And He
יִפְדֶּ֣ה
yip̄·deh
אֶת־
’eṯ-
-
יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל
yiś·rā·’êl;
מִ֝כֹּ֗ל
mik·kōl,
. עֲוֺנֹתָֽיו׃
‘ă·wō·nō·ṯāw.
