[it is] pleasant .

יִ֝שְׂרָאֵ֗ל

. לִסְגֻלָּתֽוֹ׃

for His special treasure .

Yah·weh;

וַ֝אֲדֹנֵ֗ינוּ

wa·’ă·ḏō·nê·nū,

and our Lord [is]

מִכָּל־

mik·kāl

. אֱלֹהִֽים׃

’ĕ·lō·hîm.

כֹּ֤ל

אֲשֶׁר־

､ חָפֵ֥ץ

יְהוָ֗ה

Yah·weh

עָ֫שָׂ֥ה

､ בַּשָּׁמַ֥יִם

in heaven ､

､ וּבָאָ֑רֶץ

ū·ḇā·’ā·reṣ;

and in earth ､

､ בַּ֝יַּמִּ֗ים

bay·yam·mîm,

in the seas ､

וְכָל־

wə·ḵāl

and all

. תְּהוֹמֽוֹת׃

tə·hō·w·mō·wṯ.

in deep places .

מַֽעֲלֶ֣ה

ma·‘ă·leh

He causes to ascend

נְשִׂאִים֮

nə·śi·’îm

מִקְצֵ֪ה

miq·ṣêh

– הָ֫אָ֥רֶץ

hā·’ā·reṣ

of the earth –

בְּרָקִ֣ים

bə·rā·qîm

– לַמָּטָ֣ר

lam·mā·ṭār

for the rain –

עָשָׂ֑ה

‘ā·śāh;

מֽוֹצֵא־

mō·w·ṣê-

ר֝וּחַ

rū·aḥ

the wind

. מֵאֽוֹצְרוֹתָֽיו׃

mê·’ō·wṣ·rō·w·ṯāw.

out of His treasuries .

שֶֽׁ֭הִכָּה

בְּכוֹרֵ֣י

bə·ḵō·w·rê

､ מִצְרָ֑יִם

miṣ·rā·yim;

of Egypt ､

מֵ֝אָדָ֗ם

mê·’ā·ḏām,

עַד־

‘aḏ-

to

. בְּהֵמָֽה׃

bə·hê·māh.

שָׁלַ֤ח ׀

šā·laḥ

אֹת֣וֹת

’ō·ṯō·wṯ

וּ֭מֹפְתִים

ū·mō·p̄ə·ṯîm

בְּתוֹכֵ֣כִי

bə·ṯō·w·ḵê·ḵî

into the midst of you

､ מִצְרָ֑יִם

miṣ·rā·yim;

､ בְּ֝פַרְעֹ֗ה

bə·p̄ar·‘ōh,

Upon Pharaoh ､

וּבְכָל־

ū·ḇə·ḵāl

and all

. עֲבָדָֽיו׃

‘ă·ḇā·ḏāw.

שֶֽׁ֭הִכָּה

hik·kāh

､ גּוֹיִ֣ם

gō·w·yim

רַבִּ֑ים

rab·bîm;

וְ֝הָרַ֗ג

wə·hā·raḡ,

and slew

– מְלָכִ֥ים

mə·lā·ḵîm

. עֲצוּמִֽים׃

‘ă·ṣū·mîm.

לְסִיח֤וֹן ׀

lə·sî·ḥō·wn

מֶ֤לֶךְ

me·leḵ

､ הָאֱמֹרִ֗י

hā·’ĕ·mō·rî,

of the Amorites ､

וּ֭לְעוֹג

ū·lə·‘ō·wḡ

and Og

מֶ֣לֶךְ

me·leḵ

､ הַבָּשָׁ֑ן

hab·bā·šān;

of Bashan ､

וּ֝לְכֹ֗ל

ū·lə·ḵōl,

and all

מַמְלְכ֥וֹת

mam·lə·ḵō·wṯ

– כְּנָֽעַן׃

kə·nā·‘an.

of Canaan –

וְנָתַ֣ן

wə·nā·ṯan

and gave

אַרְצָ֣ם

’ar·ṣām

their land [as]

､ נַחֲלָ֑ה

na·ḥă·lāh;

נַ֝חֲלָ֗ה

na·ḥă·lāh,

לְיִשְׂרָאֵ֥ל

lə·yiś·rā·’êl

. עַמּֽוֹ׃

‘am·mōw.

､ יְ֭הוָה

Yah·weh

､ שִׁמְךָ֣

šim·ḵā

Your name [endures] ､

– לְעוֹלָ֑ם

lə·‘ō·w·lām;

､ יְ֝הוָ֗ה

Yah·weh

､ זִכְרְךָ֥

ziḵ·rə·ḵā

לְדֹר־

lə·ḏōr-

. וָדֹֽר׃

wā·ḏōr.

and all generations .

כִּֽי־

kî-

יָדִ֣ין

yā·ḏîn

will judge

יְהוָ֣ה

Yah·weh

､ עַמּ֑וֹ

‘am·mōw;

וְעַל־

wə·‘al-

and on

עֲ֝בָדָ֗יו

‘ă·ḇā·ḏāw,

. יִתְנֶחָֽם׃

yiṯ·ne·ḥām.

He will have compassion .

עֲצַבֵּ֣י

‘ă·ṣab·bê

הַ֭גּוֹיִם

hag·gō·w·yim

of the nations

כֶּ֣סֶף

ke·sep̄

､ וְזָהָ֑ב

wə·zā·hāḇ;

and gold ､

מַ֝עֲשֵׂ֗ה

ma·‘ă·śêh,

the work

יְדֵ֣י

yə·ḏê

. אָדָֽם׃

’ā·ḏām.

of men .

､ פֶּֽה־

לָ֭הֶם

– וְלֹ֣א

but not –

יְדַבֵּ֑רוּ

yə·ḏab·bê·rū;

עֵינַ֥יִם

､ אָזְנַ֣יִם

Ears ､

– וְלֹ֣א

יַאֲזִ֑ינוּ

ya·’ă·zî·nū;

אֵין־

’ên-

[there is] no
