– רַעְיָתִי֙

my love –

you [are] fair –

עֵינַ֣יִךְ

‘ê·na·yiḵ

You [have] eyes

יוֹנִ֔ים

yō·w·nîm,

מִבַּ֖עַד

mib·ba·‘aḏ

– לְצַמָּתֵ֑ךְ

lə·ṣam·mā·ṯêḵ;

behind your veil –

שַׂעְרֵךְ֙

śa‘·rêḵ

כְּעֵ֣דֶר

kə·‘ê·ḏer

､ הָֽעִזִּ֔ים

hā·‘iz·zîm,

of goats ､

שֶׁגָּלְשׁ֖וּ

šeg·gā·lə·šū

מֵהַ֥ר

mê·har

. גִּלְעָֽד׃

gil·‘āḏ.

שִׁנַּ֙יִךְ֙

šin·na·yiḵ

Your teeth [are]

כְּעֵ֣דֶר

kə·‘ê·ḏer

like a flock of [sheep]

､ הַקְּצוּב֔וֹת

haq·qə·ṣū·ḇō·wṯ,

שֶׁעָל֖וּ

še·‘ā·lū

which have come up

מִן־

min-

– הָרַחְצָ֑ה

hā·raḥ·ṣāh;

the washing –

שֶׁכֻּלָּם֙

šek·kul·lām

of which every one

､ מַתְאִימ֔וֹת

maṯ·’î·mō·wṯ,

bears twins ､

וְשַׁכֻּלָ֖ה

wə·šak·ku·lāh

אֵ֥ין

’ên

none [is]

. בָּהֶֽם׃

bā·hem.

כְּח֤וּט

kə·ḥūṭ

､ הַשָּׁנִי֙

haš·šā·nî

of scarlet ､

שִׂפְתֹתַ֔יִךְ

śip̄·ṯō·ṯa·yiḵ,

Your lips [are]

וּמִדְבָּרֵ֖יךְ

ū·miḏ·bā·rêḵ

. נָאוֶ֑ה

nā·weh;

כְּפֶ֤לַח

kə·p̄e·laḥ

[Are] like a piece

הָֽרִמּוֹן֙

hā·rim·mō·wn

רַקָּתֵ֔ךְ

raq·qā·ṯêḵ,

מִבַּ֖עַד

mib·ba·‘aḏ

. לְצַמָּתֵֽךְ׃

lə·ṣam·mā·ṯêḵ.

behind your veil .

כְּמִגְדַּ֤ל

kə·miḡ·dal

דָּוִיד֙

dā·wîḏ

צַוָּארֵ֔ךְ

ṣaw·wā·rêḵ,

בָּנ֖וּי

bā·nui

､ לְתַלְפִּיּ֑וֹת

lə·ṯal·pî·yō·wṯ;

for an armory ､

אֶ֤לֶף

’e·lep̄

､ הַמָּגֵן֙

ham·mā·ḡên

תָּל֣וּי

tā·lui

עָלָ֔יו

‘ā·lāw,

כֹּ֖ל

kōl

שִׁלְטֵ֥י

šil·ṭê

. הַגִּבּוֹרִֽים׃

hag·gib·bō·w·rîm.

of mighty men .

שְׁנֵ֥י

šə·nê

שָׁדַ֛יִךְ

šā·ḏa·yiḵ

Your breasts [are]

כִּשְׁנֵ֥י

kiš·nê

עֳפָרִ֖ים

‘o·p̄ā·rîm

､ תְּאוֹמֵ֣י

tə·’ō·w·mê

צְבִיָּ֑ה

ṣə·ḇî·yāh;

הָרוֹעִ֖ים

hā·rō·w·‘îm

. בַּשּׁוֹשַׁנִּֽים׃

baš·šō·wō·šan·nîm.

among the lilies .

עַ֤ד

‘aḏ

､ שֶׁיָּפ֙וּחַ֙

še·yā·p̄ū·aḥ

הַיּ֔וֹם

hay·yō·wm,

the day

､ וְנָ֖סוּ

wə·nā·sū

and flee away ､

הַצְּלָלִ֑ים

haṣ·ṣə·lā·lîm;

אֵ֤לֶךְ

’ê·leḵ

I will go

לִי֙

lî

my way

אֶל־

’el-

to

הַ֣ר

har

､ הַמּ֔וֹר

ham·mō·wr,

of myrrh ､

וְאֶל־

wə·’el-

and to

גִּבְעַ֖ת

giḇ·‘aṯ

the hill

. הַלְּבוֹנָֽה׃

hal·lə·ḇō·w·nāh.

of frankincense .

כֻּלָּ֤ךְ

kul·lāḵ

､ יָפָה֙

yā·p̄āh

fair ､

– רַעְיָתִ֔י

ra‘·yā·ṯî,

my love –

וּמ֖וּם

ū·mūm

and spot

אֵ֥ין

’ên

[there is] no

. בָּֽךְ׃

bāḵ.

in you .

of Abanah ､

מֵרֹ֤אשׁ

שְׂנִיר֙

､ וְחֶרְמ֔וֹן

wə·ḥer·mō·wn,

and Hermon ､

､ מִמְּעֹנ֣וֹת

mim·mə·‘ō·nō·wṯ

from the dens ､

אֲרָי֔וֹת

’ă·rā·yō·wṯ,

מֵֽהַרְרֵ֖י

mê·har·rê

from the mountains

. נְמֵרִֽים׃

nə·mê·rîm.

of the leopards .

､ לִבַּבְתִּ֖נִי

lib·baḇ·ti·nî

You have ravished my heart ､

､ אֲחֹתִ֣י

’ă·ḥō·ṯî

my sister ､

– כַלָּ֑ה

ḵal·lāh;

[my] spouse –

לִבַּבְתִּ֙ינִי֙

lib·baḇ·tî·nî

You have ravished My heart

[באחד]

with one

(בְּאַחַ֣ת)

bə·’a·ḥaṯ

with one [look]

､ מֵעֵינַ֔יִךְ

mê·‘ê·na·yiḵ,

of your eyes ､

בְּאַחַ֥ד

with one

עֲנָ֖ק

‘ă·nāq

. מִצַּוְּרֹנָֽיִךְ׃

miṣ·ṣaw·wə·rō·nā·yiḵ.

of your necklace .

מַה־

mah-

יָּפ֥וּ

yā·p̄ū

､ דֹדַ֖יִךְ

ḏō·ḏa·yiḵ

､ אֲחֹתִ֣י

’ă·ḥō·ṯî

My sister ､

! כַלָּ֑ה

ḵal·lāh;

[my] spouse !

מַה־

טֹּ֤בוּ

ṭō·ḇū

דֹדַ֙יִךְ֙

ḏō·ḏa·yiḵ

מִיַּ֔יִן

mî·ya·yin,

וְרֵ֥יחַ

wə·rê·aḥ

and the scent

שְׁמָנַ֖יִךְ

šə·mā·na·yiḵ

of your perfumes

מִכָּל־

mik·kāl

! בְּשָׂמִֽים׃

bə·śā·mîm.

– נֹ֛פֶת

nō·p̄eṯ

as the honeycomb –

תִּטֹּ֥פְנָה

tiṭ·ṭō·p̄ə·nāh

､ שִׂפְתוֹתַ֖יִךְ

śip̄·ṯō·w·ṯa·yiḵ

､ כַּלָּ֑ה

kal·lāh;

[my] spouse ､

דְּבַ֤שׁ

də·ḇaš

וְחָלָב֙

wə·ḥā·lāḇ

and milk [are]

תַּ֣חַת

ta·ḥaṯ

– לְשׁוֹנֵ֔ךְ

lə·šō·w·nêḵ,

your tongue –

וְרֵ֥יחַ

wə·rê·aḥ

and the fragrance

שַׂלְמֹתַ֖יִךְ

śal·mō·ṯa·yiḵ

of your garments

כְּרֵ֥יחַ

kə·rê·aḥ

[Is] like the fragrance

. לְבָנֽוֹן׃

lə·ḇā·nō·wn.

of pomegranates ､

עִ֖ם

– פְּרִ֣י

מְגָדִ֑ים

mə·ḡā·ḏîm;

､ כְּפָרִ֖ים

kə·p̄ā·rîm

Fragrant henna ､

עִם־

‘im-

with

､ נְרָדִֽים׃

nə·rā·ḏîm.

נֵ֣רְדְּ ׀

nê·rəd

– וְכַרְכֹּ֗ם

wə·ḵar·kōm,

and saffron –

קָנֶה֙

qā·neh

､ וְקִנָּמ֔וֹן

wə·qin·nā·mō·wn,

and cinnamon ､

עִ֖ם

‘im

with

כָּל־

kāl-

עֲצֵ֣י

‘ă·ṣê

– לְבוֹנָ֑ה

lə·ḇō·w·nāh;

of frankincense –

מֹ֚ר

mōr

､ וַאֲהָל֔וֹת

wa·’ă·hā·lō·wṯ,

and aloes ､

עִ֖ם

‘im

with

כָּל־

kāl-

רָאשֵׁ֥י

rā·šê

. בְשָׂמִֽים׃

ḇə·śā·mîm.

the spices .

מַעְיַ֣ן

ma‘·yan

､ גַּנִּ֔ים

gan·nîm,

of gardens ､

בְּאֵ֖ר

bə·’êr

､ מַ֣יִם

ma·yim

of waters ､

חַיִּ֑ים

ḥay·yîm;

וְנֹזְלִ֖ים

wə·nō·zə·lîm

מִן־

min-

. לְבָנֽוֹן׃

lə·ḇā·nō·wn.

The Bride

､ ע֤וּרִי

‘ū·rî

צָפוֹן֙

ṣā·p̄ō·wn

､ וּב֣וֹאִי

ū·ḇō·w·’î

and come ､

– תֵימָ֔ן

ṯê·mān,

הָפִ֥יחִי

hā·p̄î·ḥî

､ גַנִּ֖י

ḡan·nî

my garden ､

. יִזְּל֣וּ

yiz·zə·lū

[That] may flow out .

בְשָׂמָ֑יו

ḇə·śā·māw;

יָבֹ֤א

yā·ḇō

דוֹדִי֙

ḏō·w·ḏî

､ לְגַנּ֔וֹ

lə·ḡan·nōw,

to his garden ､

וְיֹאכַ֖ל

wə·yō·ḵal

and eat

פְּרִ֥י

pə·rî

. מְגָדָֽיו׃

mə·ḡā·ḏāw.
