'Bottomless Pit' in the Bible
Even so shall he keep thee - if thou wilt be content - from the bottomless pit that is beneath: and if thou wilt hold the quiet, he shall fill thy table with plenteousness.
Let burning coals fall on them; let them be dropped into the fire, into bottomless pits [from which] they cannot rise.
And they besought him that he would not command them to go away into the bottomless pit.
