'Contend with Me' in the Bible

I will tell God, 'Do not condemn me. Show me why you contend with me.

Who is he who will contend with me? For then would I hold my peace and give up the spirit.

Would he contend with me in the greatness of his power? No, but he would listen to me.

Contend, LORD, with those who contend with me. Fight against those who fight against me.

"Why will you contend with me? You all have transgressed against me," says the LORD.

"Give heed to me, LORD, and listen to the voice of those who contend with me.
