Revelation 9:13-21 - A Third Of Humanity Killed By Plagues

¹³ And the sixth angel sounded, and I heard one voice from the four horns of the golden altar which is before God, ¹⁴ saying to the sixth angel the one having the trumpet, Loose the four angels which have been bound at the great river Euphrates. ¹⁵ And the four angels were loosed, who were prepared for an hour, and a day, and a month, and a year, that they should slay the third part of the men. ¹⁶ And the number of the armies of the cavalry was two myriads of myriads: I heard the number of them. ¹⁷ And thus I saw the horses in the vision, and those sitting on them, having breastplates as of fire, and of hyacinth, and of brimstone: and the heads of the horses were as of the heads of lions; and out of their mouths proceeds fire and smoke and brimstone. ¹⁸ And from these three plagues the third of the men were slain, from the fire, and from the smoke, and from the brimstone, coming out of their mouth. ¹⁹ For the power of the horses is in their mouth, and in their tails: for their tails are like serpents, having heads, and with them they do hurt.

²⁰ And the rest of the men who were not slain by these plagues did not repent of the works of their hands, that they should not worship demons, and idols of gold, and silver, and brass, and stone, and wood; which are neither able to see, nor to hear, nor to walk: ²¹ and they did not repent of their murders, nor of their sorceries, nor of their fornication, nor of their thefts.
