Psalm 130:1-Psalm 131:1 - Awaiting Redemption

¹ Out of the depths, have I cried unto thee, O Yahweh.

³ If, iniquities, thou shouldest mark, O Yah, O My Lord, who could stand? ⁴ But, with thee, is forgiveness, that thou mayest be revered.

⁵ I have waited for Yahweh, My soul hath waited for his word; ⁶ I have hoped, O my soul, for My Lord, more than they who watch for the morning, who watch for the morning.

⁷ Wait, O Israel, for Yahweh, - for, with Yahweh, is lovingkindness, and there aboundeth with him - redemption. ⁸ He, therefore, will redeem Israel from all his iniquities.

¹ O Yahweh, my heart, is not haughty, nor are mine eyes, lofty, neither have I moved among great matters, or among affairs too wonderful for me.
