Romans 16:17-20 - Concluding Exhortations
17 Now I beseech you, brethren, to mark those who are causing the divisions and occasions of stumbling, contrary to the teaching which ye learned; and turn away from them. 18 For those who are such are not serving our Lord Christ, but their own belly; and, through their kind words and flattering speeches, they beguile the hearts of the simple.
19 For your obedience reached unto all. I rejoice, therefore, over you; but I wish you to be wise as to that which is good, but simple as to evil. 20 And the God of peace shall bruise Satan under your feet speedily. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you.
13 Watch, stand fast in the faith; be men; be strong. 14 Let all your affairs be carried on in love.
15 Now I beseech you, brethren, (ye know the house of Stephanas, that it is the first-fruit of Achaia, and that they appointed themselves for ministry to the saints), 16 that ye also submit yourselves to such, and to every one who is laboring with us and toiling. 17 And I rejoice at the coming of Stephanas and Fortunatus and Achaicus; because these supplied your deficiency. 18 For, they refreshed my spirit and yours; therefore, recognize those who are such.
