1 John 2:18-27 - Departure Of The False Teachers
18 Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that an antichrist will come, there are even now many antichrists, whereby we know that it is the last time. 19 They went out from us, but they were not of us: for if they had been indeed of us, they would have continued with us; but this was done that they might be made manifest, because all, that are with us, are not indeed of us.
20 And ye have an unction from the holy One, and know all. 21 I have not therefore written to you, because ye know not the truth; but because ye know it, and that no lie is of the truth. 22 Who is a liar, if not he who denieth that Jesus is the Christ? This is the antichrist, that denieth the Father as well as the Son; 23 for whosoever denieth the Son, hath not the Father: but he that confesseth the Son acknowledgeth the Father also.
24 Let that therefore, which ye have heard from the beginning, abide in you: for if that, which ye heard from the beginning, remain in you, ye also will remain in the Son and in the Father. 25 And this is the promise which He hath promised us, even eternal life. 26 These things have I written unto you concerning those who would seduce you.
27 But the unction, which ye have received from Him, abideth in you; and therefore ye have no need that any should teach you: since this very unction teacheth you concerning all things, and is truth and not falshood; even as that hath taught you, abide in Him.
