2 Kings 25:27-30 - Elderly Jehoiachin Cared For In Babylon
27 And it will be in the thirty and seventh year to the exile of Jehoiachin, king of Judah, in the twelfth month, in the twenty and seventh of the month, Evil-Merodach king of Babel in the year of his reigning lifted up the head of Jehoiachin king of Judah from the house of shutting up. 28 And he will speak with him good things, and he will give his throne above the throne of the kings which were with him in Babel. 29 And he changed the garments of his shutting up: and he ate bread continually before him all the days of his life. 30 And his ration a ration continually, given to him from the king, the word of a day in its day all the days of his life.
