¹² and after their transmigration to Babylon, Jechonias was father of Salathiel, Salathiel father of Zorobabel. ¹³ Zorobabel father of Abiud, Abiud father of Eliakim, Eliakim father of Azor. ¹⁴ And Azor father of Sadoc, Sadoc father of Achim, Achim father of Eliud. ¹⁵ Eliud father of Eleazar, Eleazar father of Matthan, Matthan father of Jacob. ¹⁶ Jacob father of Joseph the husband of Mary of whom was born Jesus, who is called Christ.

¹⁷ So all the generations from Abraham to David, are fourteen generations: and from David to the Babylonian transmigration, are fourteen generations: and from the Babylonian transmigration unto Christ, are fourteen generations.
