Matthew 27:11-14 - Jesus Before Pilate

¹¹ Now Jesus stood before the Governor, and the Governor questioned him. "Are you the King of the Jews?" he asked. ¹² "It is as you say," answered Jesus; but while he was being accused by the chief priests and elders, he answered nothing.

¹³ Then Pilate said to him, "Do you not hear what they are testifying against you?" ¹⁴ But he made no answer, not even to one charge; insomuch that the Governor was greatly astonished.
