Matthew 20:17-19 - Jesus Predicts His Death And Resurrection A Third Time

Matthew 20:17-19

17 Jesus was going up to Jerusalem, he took the twelve apart, and on the way said to them, 18 Lo! we are going up to Jerusalem, and the Son of man will be delivered up to the chief priests and scribes; and they will condemn him to death, 19 and will deliver him up to the gentiles to mock, and scourge, and crucify; and on the third day he will rise again.

Mark 10:32-34

32 And they were on the road, going up to Jerusalem; and Jesus was leading the way; and they were amazed, and they that followed were afraid. And again taking the twelve aside, he began to tell them what things were about to befall him:

33 Lo! we are going up to Jerusalem, and the Son of man will be delivered up to the chief priests and to the scribes; and they will condemn him to death, and deliver him up to the gentiles; 34 and they will mock him, and spit upon him, and scourge him, and put him to death; and after three days he will rise again.

Luke 18:31-34

31 And taking the twelve aside, he said to them, Behold, we are going up to Jerusalem, and all that hath been written by the prophets concerning the Son of man will be accomplished. 32 For he will be delivered up to the gentiles, and will be mocked, and insulted, and spit upon; 33 and they will scourge him, and put him to death; and the third day he will rise again.

34 And they understood none of these things; and the meaning of these words was hidden from them, and they did not comprehend what was said.
