Matthew 27:1-2 - Jesus Taken To Pilate

Matthew 27:1-2

1 And it becoming early morning, all the chief priests and elders of the people took counsel against Jesus to put Him to death. 2 And when they had bound Him, they led Him away and delivered Him to Pontius Pilate the governor.

Mark 15:1-5

1 And immediately in the morning the chief priests held a consultation with the elders and scribes and the whole council. And they bound Jesus and led Him away and delivered Him to Pilate.

2 And Pilate asked Him, Are you the king of the Jews? And answering He said to him, You say it.

3 And the chief priests accused Him of many things, but He answered nothing. 4 And Pilate asked Him again, saying, Do you answer nothing? Behold how many things they witness against you! 5 But Jesus still answered nothing, so that Pilate marveled.
