Matthew 12:46-50 - Jesus' Mother And Brothers

⁴⁶ While he was yet speaking to the multitudes, behold, his mother and his brothers stood without, desiring to speak to him. ⁴⁷ And some one said to him: Behold, your mother and your brothers stand without, desiring to speak to you.

⁴⁸ But he answered and said to him that told him: Who is my mother? and who are my brothers? ⁴⁹ And he stretched out his hand toward his disciples, and said: Behold my mother and my brothers. ⁵⁰ For whoever will do the will of my Father who is in heaven, the same is my brother, and sister, and mother.

³¹ His mother and his brothers came, therefore, and standing without, sent to him, and called him. ³² And the multitude was sitting about him; and they said to him: Behold, your mother and your brothers are without, seeking you.

³³ And he answered them and said: "Who is my mother, or my brothers? ³⁴ And he looked round about on those who were sitting near him, and said: Behold, my mother and my brothers; ³⁵ for whoever will do the will of God, is my brother, and my sister, and mother.

¹⁹ And his mother and his brothers came to him, but were not able to get near him on account of the multitude. ²⁰ And it was told him by some that said: Thy mother and thy brothers stand without, desiring to see thee.

²¹ But he answered and said to them: My mother and my brothers are they that hear the word of God and do it.
