Matthew 12:46-50 - Jesus' Mother And Brothers

Matthew 12:46-50

46 And while he was yet speaking to the multitudes, behold, his mother and his brethren stood without, desiring to speak to him. 47 And a person said unto him, Behold, thy mother and thy brethren stand without, desiring to speak to thee.

48 But he answered and said to him that told him, Who is my mother? and who are my brethren? 49 And stretching out his hand towards his disciples, he said, Behold my mother and my brethren. 50 For whosoever shall do the will of my Father who is in heaven, the same is my brother, and sister, and mother.

Mark 3:31-35

31 Then came his brethren and his mother, and standing without sent unto him, calling aloud for him. 32 And the multitude sat around him, and they said to him, Behold, thy mother and thy brethren without are asking for thee.

33 And he answered them, saying, Who is my mother or my brethren? 34 And looking about on those who were sitting in a circle round him, he saith, Behold my mother and my brethren! 35 For whosoever shall do the will of God, that person is my brother, and my sister, and mother.

Luke 8:19-21

19 Then came to him his mother and his brethren, and could not come near him because of the crowd. 20 And it was told him, saying, Thy mother and thy brethren are standing without, desirous of seeing thee.

21 Then he answered and said to them, My mother and my brethren are they, who hear the word of God, and practise it.
