Matthew 26:14-16 - Judas Arranges To Betray Jesus

¹⁴ Then one of the twelve, the one named Judas Iscariot, went to the chief priests ¹⁵ [and] said, "What are you willing to give me if I in turn deliver him to you?" So they set out for him thirty silver coins. ¹⁶ And from that time on, he began seeking a favorable opportunity in order that he could betray him.

¹⁰ And Judas Iscariot, who [was] one of the twelve, went to the chief priests in order to betray him to them. ¹¹ And [when] they heard [this], they were delighted, and promised to give him money. And he began seeking how he could betray him conveniently.

³ And Satan entered into Judas, the one called Iscariot, who was of the number of the twelve. ⁴ And he went away [and] discussed with the chief priests and officers of the temple guard how he could betray him to them. ⁵ And they were delighted, and came to an agreement with him to give [him] money. ⁶ And he agreed, and began looking for a favorable opportunity to betray him to them apart from the crowd.
