1 Corinthians 6:1-11 - Lawsuits Between Believers

1 Dare any of you having a business with another be judged by the wicked, and not by the saints? 2 Do you not know that the saints shall judge the world? And if the world is judged by you, are you unworthy of the lowest courts? 3 Know you not that we shall judge angels? Much more then things pertaining to this life? 4 If then you have courts for the business of this life, do you constitute them of the most abject in the church? 5 I speak to your shame. Is there not now a wise man among you? not one who can judge between his brothers? 6 But brother goes to law with brother, and that before unbelievers.

7 Now therefore there is a great fault among you, that you go to law one with another. Why not rather suffer injustice? why not rather be defrauded? 8 But you injure and defraud, and that your brothers. 9 Know you not that the unjust shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived; neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor the effeminate, nor sodomites, 10 nor thieves, nor covetous persons, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor the rapacious, shall inherit the kingdom of God. 11 And such were some of you; but you are washed, you are sanctified, but you are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.
