John 11:38-44 - Lazarus Is Raised

38 Then Jesus again groaning in Himself comes to the tomb; and it was a cave, and a stone was laid upon it. 39 Jesus says; Take away the stone. Martha, the sister of the dead, says to Him; Lord, already he smelleth: for he is dead four days.

40 Jesus says to her; Did I not tell thee, that, if thou canst believe, thou shalt see the glory of God?

41 Then they took away the stone; and Jesus lifted up His eyes, and said, Father, I thank thee, because Thou hast heard Me. 42 I know that Thou dost always hear Me; but on account of the multitude standing around I spoke, in order that they might believe that Thou didst send Me. 43 And speaking these things, He cried out with a great voice, Lazarus, come forth. 44 And the dead came out, bound as to his feet and hands with graveclothes; and his face bound round with a napkin. Jesus says to them, Loose him, and let him go.
