John 11:38-44 - Lazarus Is Raised

38 Jesus, therefore, again groaning in Himself, cometh to the tomb. Now it was a cave, and a stone was lying on it. 39 Jesus saith, "Take ye away the stone." The sister of the deceased, Martha, says to Him, "Lord, already he is decaying; for he has been dead four days."

40 Jesus saith to her, "Did I not say to you that, if you would believe, you should see the glory of God?"

41 So they took away the stone. And Jesus lifted up His eyes, and said, "Father, I thank Thee, because Thou didst hear Me. 42 And I knew that Thou always hearest Me; but, because of the multitude standing around, I said it, that they may believe that Thou didst send Me." 43 And, having spoken these words, He cried with a loud voice, "Lazarus, come forth!" 44 He that was dead came forth, bound feet and hands with grave-clothes; and his face was bound about with a napkin. Jesus saith to them, "Loose him, and let him go."
