Matthew 8:14-17 - Many At Capernaum Are Healed

¹⁴ And when Jesus had come into Peter's house, he saw his mother-in-law lying, and ill of a fever. ¹⁵ And he touched her hand, and the fever left her: and she arose and ministered to him. ¹⁶ When the evening had come, they brought to him many that were possessed with demons: and he cast out the spirits with his word, and cured all that were sick; ¹⁷ that the word might be fulfilled which was spoken by Isaiah the prophet, saying: He himself took our infirmities, and bore our diseases.

²⁹ And forthwith, having gone out of the synagogue, they went into the house of Simon and Andrew, with James and John. ³⁰ Now the mother-in-law of Simon lay sick of a fever. And at once they told him of her. ³¹ And he went to her, and took her by the hand, and raised her up, and the fever left her instantly; and she ministered to them.

³² And at evening, when the sun had gone down, they brought to him all that were sick, and those who were possessed with demons. ³³ And the whole city came together to the door. ³⁴ And he cured many that were sick of various diseases, and cast out many demons, and did not suffer the demons to speak, because they knew him.
