Matthew 8:14-17 - Many At Capernaum Are Healed

¹⁴ And when Jesus came to Peter's house. He saw his wife's mother lying ill of a fever: ¹⁵ and He did but touch her hand, and the fever left her; and she rose up and waited on them. ¹⁶ And when it was evening they brought to him many demoniacs: and he cast out the evil spirits with a word, and healed all that were ill: that it might be fulfilled, ¹⁷ which was spoken by Esaias the prophet, saying, He took our infirmities himself, and bore our diseases.

²⁹ And as soon as they came out of the synagogue, they went into the house of Simon and Andrew, together with James and John. ³⁰ And Simon's wife's mother lay sick of a fever: and they immediately told Him of her: ³¹ and He came to her, and taking her by the hand raised her up; and immediately the fever left her, and she waited upon them.

³² And in the evening, when the sun set, they brought to Him all that were ill, and demoniacs: ³³ and the whole city was gathered together at the door; ³⁴ and He healed many that were ill of various diseases, and cast out many devils, and suffered not the devils to say that they knew Him.
