Acts 14:19-23 - Paul Stoned At Lystra

19 But there came thither Jews from Antioch and Iconium; and, having persuaded the multitudes, and having stoned Paul, they drew him outside the city, supposing him to have died. 20 But, the disciples having surrounded him, rising up, he entered into the city; and, on the following day, he departed with Barnabas to Derbe.

21 And, having proclaimed the glad tidings to that city, and having made many disciples, they returned to Lystra, and Iconium, and Antioch; 22 confirming the souls of the disciples, exhorting them to abide in the faith, and that through many tribulations we must enter into the Kingdom of God.

23 And, having appointed elders for them in every assembly; and, having prayed with fastings, they commended them to the Lord on Whom they had believed.
