Acts 14:1-7 - Preaching In Iconium
1 Now it came to pass in Iconium that they entered together into the synagogue of the Jews, and so spake, that a great multitude both of Jews and of Greeks believed. 2 But the unbelieving Jews stirred up and embittered the souls of the gentiles against the brethren. 3 A long time, therefore, they tarried there, speaking boldly in the Lord, Who testified to the word of His grace, by granting signs and wonders to be done through their hands. 4 But the multitude of the city was divided; and some, indeed, held with the Jews, and some with the apostles. 5 But, when a hostile movement was made, both of the gentiles and Jews with their rulers, to maltreat and stone them; 6 they, becoming aware it, fled to the cities of Lycaonia, Lystra, and Derbe, and to the region round about; 7 and there they were proclaiming the Good News.
