Acts 4:1-4 - Peter And John Arrested

¹ And as they were speaking to the people, the priests, and the captain of the temple, ² and the Saducees came upon them, Being grieved that they had healed the lame man, and preached thro' Jesus the resurrection from the dead. ³ And they laid hands on them, and put them in hold till the next day: for it was now evening. ⁴ But many of them who had heard the word, believed. And the number of the men was about five thousand.
